Where to even start? Brought my kids there for about a month and a half and it was an absolute nightmare. On day 2 we were informed that one of our boys "threw himself to the ground" while having a fit and somehow busted his eye to the point where it was swollen shut. Asked to review the video tape to see how this could happen and was told they couldnt find an angle that showed the incident. Every day when we pick the kids up we ask how they did and how there day was and would always get the "they were good" general response. No specifics whatsoever until one day one of the boys was "written up" for "hitting a teacher, followed by a kick" (the owner was the one who told the teacher to do the write up as he was watching the incident unfold and did absolutely nothing to intervene or redirect) and we were told that multiple write ups would lead to a 2 day suspension. (THEYRE 2 YEARS OLD) who suspends a toddler? When asked why he was written up we were told this isnt the first time hes done this. But no one had ever informed us about any previous misbehavior. The last straw was when we went to pick them up from daycare and one of them was wearing jeans that were obviously not his. (Theyre twins, and they have matching jeans) also the ones he was wearing were too big and kept falling down. We asked 3 different teachers what happened and where the missing jeans were and not one could answer that simple question. Then we walk back inside and as were passing the owner, mom explains her disappointment at the fact that nobody can give us a straight answer and how this is unacceptable. And the owner has the audacity to not only argue back, but continuously cut her off and raise his voice to her, in front of our kids. This place should be shut down. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! (Discovery world academy) not bayside.

I was given a tour of this place and boy was it a disaster! The dance studio was full of boxes and books and all kids of crap all over the floor.. And the floor itself was laminate flooring that did not seem at all attached.. It was bubbling up and i was practically bouncing as i walked.. The room my children were to be taken care of in was as big as my living room and was incredibly filthy! The outdoor area was alright but all the toys again were disgusting! Nothing was clean. I understand they just renovated but i would never leave my children someplace that dirty. When i asked about the daily schedule she was completely vague about the ciriculum and said that if the kids werent "feelin in" then they didnt do it.. I couldnt wait to leave. This was the cheapest daycare in my area and now i can see why..
