After looking for work for quite some time I was offered a posistion that required me to start the following week- due to the time limit I didnt have much time to seek out the "perfect" daycare. Being a Christian myself, I trusted that such a school would work out great for my almost 3 year old....WRONG! The first "accident" I picked up my child from daycare on the back play ground where the teacher was purched with her back turned to the children on a picnic table about 60ft from the children. When I lifted my daughter to her carseat, i smellt BM.. so I checked and she had soiled herself (and it wasnt fresh) So upset I went inside to find out that the kids had been outside for 5hrs!!! (IT is a hot March in FL)- and it was my almost 3 year olds "responsibility to tell the teacher if she needed to go potty".. so on my transit back to the teacher.. my daughter then tells me she fell down and bumbed her lip outside (NOT ONCE MENCHIONED TO ME)- I understand things happen, but fill me in. When I brought this up to the teacher she said "No she didnt fall"- but the child doing the teachers hair- said "yes she did remember over there"--- Oh then the truth comes out... not only did she fall, not only was I lied to, the teacher had another childs parent take her inside to wash her mouth out!!! - yes I know. Second run in....pone call..." Your daughter was sitting on a counter today- she fell off and bumped her head, but is fine"--- Nice, what was my daughter doing on a counter, a) and b) unsupervised.... Third run in, Kept having poop accidents bc they dont have time to ask her every 10 min if she needs to go...(thought daycare was supposed to help them learn these things I could be wrong).. "oh we dont wipe them, they should be able to wipe themselves" Kept putting her in pull ups "oh I didnt feel like looking for her change of underware".. and many more.. but my favorite.. the one that made me finally withdraw her---- Dad goes to take her to school, and a teacher is right outside the building SMOKING A CIGARETTE in front of a child!!!..oh but its ok, that is so and sos grandson!!!!!! Disgusting! Yes they are cheap--- but you get what you pay for!!! If you care about your child/children just a little.. STEER CLEAR!!! -

Ive been a member of Buchanan Baptist Church for over 23 years and I absolutely love the church and all the members. Our Preacher William Thacker is so interesting and captivating when he is preaching his sermon. He always keeps you interested. I have learned to be a better Christian and a better person because of his compassionate way of presenting the word of God. I would highly recommend anyone to join our church.We have the most loving and friendly people you would ever want to meet.

Buchanan Baptist Church is a small church where they all know each other and people do not get lost in the shuffle as in a mega-size church. See their website for their beliefs. I highly recommend this church.
