I have worked with the Wedding Authority countless times in the last 10 years and Carla, Bill, and Dawn have been invaluable team mates for our clients. If I want a happy client, I simply refer the Wedding Authority. Today I want to talk with you a bit about my friend Bill and what an integral part he played in my wifes and my wedding day. As a photographer, I observe people very closely. I watch as Bill guides the groom up to the altar shaking his hand upon arrival, and offering a few choice words. I have always appreciated how he speaks to the bride and groom, in a warm and gentle manner. When it came to our wedding day the choice of officiant was very simple: We needed Bill. Full Disclosure: I work in the wedding industry in Saint Augustine so I have worked with hundreds of different vendors in the area for the last 10 years. But last month I happened to be on the other side of the camera when I married the love of my life. I told my bride-to-be that of all the weddings I have seen the very best couples are out for two things: 1) to have a great time and 2) be thankful for the day. So that was all I really wanted for our wedding day. Well, we got so much more than we could have ever hoped for. Over a couple of meetings, Bill asked us a few questions about things that may or may not be important to us, and even though I have been through hundreds of weddings, he was able to offer a few suggestions that I had not thought of. In the end the process was so simple and felt more to my wife and I like a casual chats than business meetings. When the day came, Bill truly shined, I got my handshake and words of wisdom. Our ceremony was perfect in every way, filled with the perfect balance of tradition and heartfelt surprise. I will remember our wedding day with so much fondness, and Bill Young and the rest of the Wedding Authority hold such an important part in those memories. Thank you Bill!

Amazing service from two of the nicest people I have ever met. I can hardly put into words what an incredible job the people at the Wedding Authority did. Their venue is perfect for anyone having an intimate wedding. We had no experience putting together a wedding event and were incredibly fortunate to find the Wedding Authority. Due to our limited knowledge, we had nearly endless questions about the details about the ceremony and reception. The people there were helpful, knowledgeable, flexible, and prompt in responding to our inquiries. Most of all, they were friendly above and beyond expectations. We needed a place to have an intimate wedding for only a few family members and close friends. The Wedding Authority was the absolute perfect place to come for such an occasion. Their Amore Chapel can seat somewhere around forty guests, which was more than we had. And for the reception, they had the La Florida Room just two doors down that was perfect for our number of attendees. Their minister, Reverend William Young, is a true gentleman, who gave a deeply moving ceremony. We couldnt have asked for better. His wife, Carla, was equally kind and professional. She coordinated everything we needed and made sure it all met our specifications. As well, she gave spot-on recommendations for our catering and flowers. Our wedding was made incredibly special thanks to the fantastic service from the people at the Wedding Authority. We will always think of them fondly and highly recommend them to anyone having a wedding in Saint Augustine.

The first time we met Dawn, Carla, and Bill we knew they were a good fit...what we didnt know was that theyd turn out to be a great fit, a perfect match for coordinating our wedding. While we did most of the heavy lifting ourselves (crazy choice), Dawn and her Team stepped up and went above and beyond the call of duty to support us in every way possible, the months leading up to and of course on our wedding day. They were simply AMAZING! A true passion for all things wedding mixed with a healthy dose of Southern warmth and hospitality makes them a truly unique team. We counted on them for many things, and they came through on all fronts. We highly and enthusiastically recommend the Wedding Authority, yall!

My fiancee and I decided two days before the end of the year that we wanted to get married on New Years Eve. I called the chapel at 6:00pm on Tuesday to see if we could get married there on Thursday. They had availability that morning so I spent the next day calling family, finding a dress, looking for flowers and all that goes with a wedding. In the midst of the whirlwind our guest list increased from 6 to 15 however I failed to notify the chapel. They never batted an eye. They were so very nice and accommodating to us. Karla was FANTASTIC, the Minister was WONDERFUL and the ceremony was absolutely PERFECT. It could not have gone better if I had actually planned it!

I rarely write reviews but I think everyone should know what a joy Carla and Bill are to work with. If you have a large or small wedding, I am sure they can handle it and refer you to the best vendors. Our wedding was on a shorter time frame and you would have never known it from the results on the wedding day. The stress of planning had been lifted after meeting with Bill and Carla they had the perfect suggestions for flowers - Flowers by Shirley and photographer - Bill Vodek. The courtyard was the perfect setting for our wedding, thank you for everything Bill and Carla

Bill and Carla are amazing and made our day beyond memorable. They were easy and fun to work with. Honestly, just the sweetest people in Saint Augustine. We got married in January of 2017 and our day was perfect. The chapel is stunning and perfect for an intimate wedding. A special thank you to both Bill and Carla, as they day wouldnt have been perfect without you guys. Also, rent your tux from the Wedding Authority! Beautiful tuxes with lots of variety.

Carla was amazing! The entire staff was super friendly and made the planning process stress-free (and we dont even live in St. Augustine!). The wedding day was beautiful and went off seamlessly. I was a very happy bride and appreciated how easy she made it, so that we only had to concentrate on each other (and not the little details).
