School is terrible. It became a nightmare. Teacher and owner, Alina Guerrero praises her dance school and likes to make negative comments about other schools. She intimidate students with embarrassing comments to the point that students have fear of her and dont even want to continue in the classes. In my case, my daughter was dancing for 6 years at a different school and Alina Guerrero made comments about her previous school and the poor skills that she gained at that school, put her down in front of other kids, embarassed her telling her in English and Spanish to suck her belly in (my daughter is a little chubby and she felt embarrassed every time that she said that in front of people and this is totally unacceptable and was the main reason why I took her out), called her "dirty" for wearing some old ballet shoes and lied to me when I confront her saying that she never said that and that the shoes were fine, calling her "boba" (silly in Spanish) and put her always behind in the dances as according to Alina her dancing skills obtained at the previous school were poor. After this experience my daughter decided to quit dancing. I dont know why she praises so much her dance studio when first, Alina teaches ballet but doesnt dance it at all, she doesnt even move while teaching. My daughter got tired of her comments and rudeness and asked me to take her out of the school. Alina told me that I would need to send email cancelling, which I did. As my daughter loves to dance, she asked me to see if she can at least stay at the school dancing hip hop. I sent email asking Alina how much was the tuition for hip hop due as my daughter liked that class. I never stated that my daughter would continue to go to the dance classes or anything after that Alina started billing me as she stated that the email was proof of enrollment. I refused to pay as all I did was ask for a question "when is the tuition due?" and never agreed on anything. She threaten me that she would take me to collection if I dont pay and she did, now I have the Account Receivables agency harassing me with calls and emails. Stay away from this business unless you want your child to loose their confidence, feel bullied and have a money hungry person trying to take advantage of you. BTW, their recital was the Worst Dance recital ever. As I mentioned, my daughter came from a different school very professional staff and beautiful professional recital that was worth every penny i paid . This Recital is Totally disorganized, she does it on a high school, small stage, no lighting or good sound. People started to leave at the middle of the recital for being so long, boring and you cant barely hear the music as the sound is terrible.

An amazing dance school with exceptional instruction! My daughter started dancing at this studio when she was merely 3 years old and it has become our permanent dance home for the past six years. In these 6 years, she has gone from prancing around in a tutu as a toddler to taking every dance subject currently available at the studio and being part of the schools dance company. She has had the privilege to learn from amazing dance instructors with vast experience in the Performing Arts who have molded her into a beautiful, strong and graceful dancer . In addition to dance, she has also received vocal instruction and theater classes for two years. At this school, the goal is to teach students in all aspects of the performing arts and the teachers truly teach them proper technique. Additionally, the pricing is unbeatable. Prices are well below the average rate at other studios. This more than just your typical dance school., it is a second home and a close-knit family!

My daughter Nashla started dancing at this studio when she was 2 years old and it has become permanent dance for the last two years. She has had the privilege to learn from amazing dancers and instructor mrs. Alina Peña. I use this class a physical therapy for her because she was a preemie baby and had a lot to catch up for kids at her age. After this two years, Im so proud of her learning at the dance school as well as her physical movements improvement. Mrs. Alina is a unbelievable teacher and passionate on what she does to the point that my daugther cant wait to saturdays morning to go to her class. The most memorable moment for me was her first recital, were I saw her performing beautifuly. Additionally, the pricing is unbeatable. Prices are well below the average rate at other studios and the best part is they treat the kids as family... Thanks you Mrs. Alina Peña and all your staff for such wonderful academy and for being so passionate on what you do.

Horrible dance school. Very dissapointed with recital. Continued for 2 months after the recital and withdrew my child after as a student was teaching the class instead of the instructor. The instructor told me child to stand on the sticker on the day of the recital and whole time my child paid attention to the sticker. Horrible chorogroahy. Poor execution. As strict as owner acts there is nothing show for. My child doesnt want to do ballet anymore because of this school. Very disappointed. Be aware of the contract too. Send emails for cancellations and not a single response got a phone rudely after 5 months asking me for money. How shameful!! Be aware mommies and daddies. Dont waste your money. You never know what is going on behind the curtains. !!!

Now offering Acting & Singing, we are definitely Sunrises best kept secret. Affordably priced, every child can experience the love of dance. Our recitals are renowned and our parents are amazing. They not only support their childs passion, but they follow policies and procedures put in place to have an organized and effective dance school.

Went to show and it was horrible. Long pauses in between dances, horrible technique, no facial expressions, etc. From prior dance instructions from Stellas Dancers Studio, the whole show was discombobulated the owner ran the music and I could literally see the backstage from where I was sitting. The DANCE school had people singing for a production of Annie and a couple other songs, I dont think I can hear anymore. The Dancers couldnt sing to save their lives. Overall, I would not send my child here even if if was the last dance school in South Florida.

The classes and teachers are excellent!!! The classes are very professional and are very helpful. This studio is one of the best Ive ever been too and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a place to learn and better their technique in dancing.
