If youre looking for the best haircut of your life - take the time to visit this establishment. I came into town from Jacksonville, FL on business and when my meeting cancelled I figured it would be a good day to go get a hair cut. I called over to American Dream to see if I could set up an appointment and was graciously welcomed for a 12:30 spot with Pedro. If you are planning on walking in these guys will be more than happy to work you in where they can but if you keep a tight schedule, Ill suggest just making the appointment to help everyone out. As a guy who is VERY particular about his haircuts I was a little hesitant to walk into a place Ive never been to but Pedro gave me the best fade Ive ever received. He took his time making sure every part of my cut was perfect, lined up my beard, and even styled it for me before leaving. Talk about a professional experience from true artists, these guys do a phenomenal job. Pedro is truly a master of his craft. Couldnt speak higher of the quality of work I got from Pedro and how friendly the other staff was. Im not even from Tampa and it was like going to a barber Ive gone to since I was a kid. I wish these guys were in Jacksonville so I could have this positive of an experience again. But Im not exaggerating when I say its worth the 4 hour drive to get this level of service. 10/10 these guys are the real deal. Thank you Pedro and next time Im in town Ill be stopping in!

1 star because 0 isnt an option. I have left a positive review for this place previously. I just got turned away from a haircut from geno after an "appt" (which are never punctual on their behalf) was made. The reasoning behind his refusal was because I have had javy cut my hair previously which wouldnt be a problem but to take such a high stance and puff up his chest was comical . If those are the principals of that place so be it, but hard to have respect to hear I dont cut other barbers "clients" yet "allow" another barber in his shop to cut my hair??? Hmm, oh and you said you went into that last time I tried to get a cut when javy wasnt working, not so much you said you were over booked and offered up someone else to cut my hair. So with that bs said the cuts are fine but if you are looking for a "barbershop" keep looking, youll find a SALON atmosphere there. Careful which barber is available to cut your hair, apparently once they cut your hair then your stuck with just him.

Gino does not know the meaning of an "appointment" I had an appointment for 8:45 PM today. I get there by 8:20 PM and he tells me to wait for a little. A little? Once he was done cutting the person who was in front of me, he calls another person. Next, another person, and then another one who came 20 minutes after me. So by 9:30 PM I decided to leave. Clearly this guy has no clue what an appointment is, nor he has the courtesy to approach me and apologize for his lack of being a real professional. Finally, the place is a dump; dirt all over the place. I will never step a foot in that junk place. Furthermore, I will make sure anyone I know hears about how bad of a "business" this place is. Gino is disrespectful and uneducated. He repeatedly said bad words in front of children and a woman.

Been here twice first time was good second time totally messed my hair up and messed my beard up. Asked for a high and tight none off the top... He cuts off the top. Beard is uneven an just looks awful will have to shave it off because of the cut I was given. Will not go back....

stopped in without an appointment. owner squeezed me in but i would definitely recommend calling ahead as they do get busy and i do feel as though my cut was a bit rushed(again, my fault no appt.) but he gave me a clean cut. chill vibe, good music, comfortable seating.

The wait can be long if you dont have an appointment but it is well worth it, they give the best, most meticulously styled cuts Ive seen in the area.

Bad experience. Barbers were comparing how many haircuts they can do in day. If your looking for a 30 minute haircut this is the place to go.
