Will never go back again. The gym i can say its good, enjoyed working out while my kids were taken care of. When i first signed up, i also signed up for 1 set of personal training sessions which i cancelled 2hrs after that. Nothing personal, i changed my mind about the sessions and went in person at that time and was told by Derrick the manager that it was taken care of, so i went with that. 3 weeks later my card was charged almost $300 for that session regardless. No big deal, i simply called the gym and asked for a refund and i was told that someone would get back to me. I called crunch for almost 3 straight weeks every 2days asking politely for my refund and never took anything personal with any rep that i spoke to and many times asked to speak to manager and nothing. I was told that the CC refund would have to go thru corporate and still nothing. I sent many emails to customer service on the website, got the confirmation that i would be contacted and never did (i sent 3). I decided once again to call facility and asked a rep for corporates number and i was informed that everything is thru each gym itself and not corporate. Last friday i decided to call gym and only asked if manager Derrick was there and advised rep to please advise him that i will be going there in person to see what is going on with my refund or if anything maybe a paperproof of when my CC was processed for the refund and that i woukld be there in 1hour. I arrived with my husband 1hour after and funny thing is that Derrick the so called manager never processed my refund until about 30 mins before i got there (after i called) and straight up and left. Very unprofessional. Mistakes do happen but if you are in management, your priority would be acting fast and trying to fix the problem PERIOD or atleast delegating the issue. Never going back

I just wanna say i will never ever go back to this gym again and ill be sure to let everyone i know or come in face with know to never go to this gym ever again. Bc of trainer DERICK! I left youfit bc it was very small and not enough equipment. I been going to youfit for about 5 years and i was very excited when i heard this crunch was going to open up. However i will be going back to youfit only bc of their great customer service. I wanna say to crunch if you have that guy DERICK working for you. Crunch on hillsborough will go down. He is horrible person. Does not care about his clients all he cares about is MONEY. Hes a lier and a manipulator. In the past 5 years i been going to youfit ive never had to deal with bad experiences like this. I never signed up for training however i was still charged over 200 dollars for it. DERICK takes no reponsibility. Even though i have proof that o never signed up for it he Does not give me the time or the day. Im still waiting for my money back. I just want to say ive never had such a horrible experience like i ha e at CRUNCH and bc of that guy ill never step foot again. DERICK ruins the good name Crunch has and its a shame hes still working there. For anyone reading this your better off working out at home then going to that crunch.

This gym is a joke! I bought my membership back in December 16, they kept saying we are gonna open in a few weeks over and over until it finally opened in March I think it was...... They are very shady about the charges you will receive. You look at your bank account for an annual random charge??? The gym is WAY over crowded, and you have to wait for everything. I was wanting to get on a machine, but had to wait for someone to get off his phone as he sat in the chair holding the machine. I called to cancel my membership, and the guy said I had to go in and sign some form about why I wanted to cancel. I told him I dont use it any more, and he said "so you no longer use it", yep, "you still have to come in and sign paper work." I told him "well can you just take care of that over the phone"..."No you still need to come in." This is truly an example of getting what you pay for! STAY AWAY!!!!

This place is bull just like Derrick!!!! he is very unprofessional and a LIAR.... once they get you to sign with a personal trainer they dont let you know that you need to sign a "cancellation form" before your 3 months are up. We asked several times if after the 3 month personal trainer sessions were done if there was anything else we had to do but yet derrick said no!, the trainers were not inform of this charge either. now the card got charged $400 and even after going and speaking with derrick and Matt facility manger nothing was done. So sad because my friend really needs her money and Im sure $400 does not mean the same to them than to her. Read the small line in every contract you are signing.

Can I just say, Ive never been more excited for something to open or start. After talking to Charles here I felt like I was welcomed and every other employee seemed to care about what I was looking for in the gym, not just my money. Not only are the employees awesome, but the actual gym is crazy! Whatever you could need in the gym, they have, and more! They have a huge indoor running track, its 2 stories, they have a bunch of different classes offered at all different times and the best part, I get a discount on the membership because of where I work. This gym crushes any other gym on quality, plus is only $9.95 a month. Honestly cant wait for this!!!

It is an amazing gym for $10/month. Way better than its competion I.E. Planet Fitness or U-Fit...but if youre serious about lifting weights, or really getting in shape, I would not recommend this gym. Too many gym-casual people sitting on equipment and not sharing, texting and talking on phones. Any semi-serious lifter or gym goer understands gym energy. You feed off of others DOING WORK...and vice versa. Again if you want to tell people, "That you workout," this is the gym for you. But if youre atleast semi-serious, this place is not for you.

joined in Feb before they opened. Promised they would open March 1st. Moved March 15 and still were not open. Never got to use this membership. Tried to cancel because I live to far away now but they are trying to make me pay annual fee and three months when I never even got to use the membership because they opened late. Very unprofessional. I have tried to explain this to Crunch and they dont seem to care. I feel they did not open when promised and I should not have to pay. Terrible business ethics

I have been a member for a while now, the time that I go is 3 AM, the place is mostly clean, the weights and machines are in good shape and there is a good variety of machines. But the AC is turned off at the time I go and other members have commented on it being hot ( 78 Deg ) on the thermostats, you sweat when you come out of the showers which I have had shower curtains ( yes plural ) fall while showering.
