La fitness is a huge scam. They take your money and then forget about you like a typical "corporate" establishment. They will fill you with lies and tell you whatever it takes to get you to sign up for a membership or training sessions. Once your locked in with a contract your pretty much screwed because canceling will take a lawyer. They signed my wife up for multiple training sessions. She wasnt interested at first because they didnt have a female trainer. They called her once they did and promised her she would only be trained by a female by the training manager. When she did sign up she was promised 90 sessions on a contract,then after she signed she was told she had to come back and resign because they had it on old paperwork from lifestyles family fitness or some other false reason. She went back and signed on new paperwork only to later find out she had only 77 sessions on the new contract. I bet you can guess what they told her. "Well thats the amount of sessions we can give for that price the first one was a mistake. Man these guys are really something. After hours of arguing the manager signed a contract with my wife to train her personally on her own time for the additional sessions she was promised to try to rectify the situation. The first month or so went well until they drove out the only female trainer they had Katelyn M. They gave my wife the option to suspend her training after she has started to see results of course or work out with a male trainer. She wasnt happy with these options. They scheduled her with a male trainer that she never met without her permission. She now is being told there are no other options and deal with it. They wont refund her the remaining money shes owed so she can continue her training somewhere else. After dealing with the corporate mongrels we have been told get over it theres nothing in her contract about only being trained by a female even though thats the only reason she signed up in the first place and was assured by their manager thats the way it would be. Multiple attempts have been made to rectify this situation to no avail. We will now be hiring an attorney and contacting the department of consumer affairs and see what they have to say. They think they are smarter then everyone and can just treat people like idiots after they have paid them.

The place is too crowded. They have a lot of free weights which is nice. The manager is a very stupid man. I went in planning on signing up. But they have a $199 sign up fee and 39.99 and month. so 199/ 12 months is 16.58 so a total membership is 56.57. Or so or a $249 sign up with 34.99 a month, 249/12 is 20.75 total 55.75 I was not willing to pay such sign up fees and the manager then attempted to question my high school math skills offering me 44.99 and a 100 sign up fee 100. 100/12 is 8.33 plus 44.99 every month that is 53.32. He attempted several ways of moving the monthly fee and the signup fee around trying to get me to join all coming to $53 +. The fact that he was attempting to get me to join by trying to trick me is an insult. no matter the "discount " he was giving me, it always came to over $50 dollars.Anybody with high school level math can see what he is doing. Do not go here. Join a new gym like planet fitness with reasonable prices. In my opinion these companys with astronomic prices will not be around in 10 years.

Mediocre at best. The attitude at this gym is like that of most corporate gyms (sell more memberships, make higher profits regardless of the actual costumer experience). But this gym goes a step further by basking in its mediocrity. If you are a beginner or a occasional gym goes then this would be passable for you, but for moderate to serious lifters: I highly recommend to look elsewhere. Weights, machines, benches are very scarce, no one ever re-racks their weights (rude), staff has a bad attitude, everyone is packed in the weights area while there is a large "personal training only" area that sits empty all the time. But since they are so busy getting new members none of these issues are going to be resolved. Dont waste your money and go somewhere else.

The gym here is a joke the staff are unfriendly and the rates are expensive. Compared to other LA fitness this is a joke for the price, along with the sales team. They dont care about you only a sale, Leo the manager is a complete douche he will like only to make a sale. The only one that I will say is friendly and tells you how it is is the one gentleman William. Everyone else lies and is deceitful, the front desk staff is a joke especially the little attitude of the blonde girl. All in all there are so many options that are better then this

Horrible customer service and management!! Been a member here for close to 10 years and the past year has been the worst!! Totally gone down hill!! Lets see where do I start..... Never any paper towels in locker room or around gym. A/C is always broken!! And the worst thing is l, they have convicted child molestor that works out here...and management says he has jus as much right to be here as me or anybody else!! The current manager Keirn told me. I cant see how?!! Cause there a day care center in the gym

the "head of personal training" told us we couldnt work out in the PT area when the machines were open in there, which were taken outside. We were working out in there for at least 10 minutes before and he only complained to us when he wanted the cable machine that we were using. He said people were stealing weights, which is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. Just use my $30 a month to buy a camera. The guy looks like he hasnt lifted a day in his life. Other than that. Its a nice gym.

Horrible Horrible Experience with this Gym :: Leo the manager is a big lier :lied through this mouth to sign me in :: told my Husband can be a guest as long as he accompanied by me but later said no :: He is a big lier :: Now am so so unhappy with this gym : just moved in this area and not happy with this kind of people / running a gym :: even costumer Service was useless !!! Pls dont join / find another gym that values people and where professional work ..

Dirty and smelly!!! Nobody wipes their machines off after sweating all over them. They just get up and walk away! Where is the staff, you might ask?? Well, they are as bad as the customers! I watched every one of their personal trainers take their clients from machine to machine and never even think of wiping down afterwards. Nobody cleans up or enforces the wipe down rule and the place is paying the price for it. Smelly and disgusting!!!

I signed up a couple weeks ago Leo the general manager helped me out and got me started found a price that would fit my budget and did not sales talk me like most gyms Ive always been scared to join at a big gym just because I dont have the experience and the look but Leo and his staff made me feel comfortable and always say hi and make me feel like Im part of the family great gym !!
