PLEASE listen to other reviews, this barber shop does a very specific type of haircut. Im not saying they dont know how to do anything, but they only know how to do one thing. I asked very specifically for a type of haircut, and received completely the opposite to what I asked. I was instead given a type fade, my sideburn area was edged way to the top of my ear when it was extremely clear where I shave them to. I asked for tapered in the back, a simple task I thought, but then I received a higher block, with just the bottom shaved off with a straight razor. They also take a razor and edge your entire head for it. I felt like the guy was extremely rough with it, not as soft and sharp as most, and I even bled a little afterward, of course them using AFTERSHAVE on your entire head after using a straight razor will ensure a nice burn, man up. All in all I received a very sub-par haircut and extremely different from asked. Wont be back.

I agree with Steve. I left Great Clips yesterday because the wait was too long; the cuts I got there were just ok but I kept going back out of convenience and habit. Got a cut here this morning and WOW, huge difference. For example, they use real razors to do hairline edging and not just the clippers. They also have compressed air cleaners instead of that stupid brush. Granted, the nicer cut does take a little bit longer but the quality is worth it. Also, theyre $4 cheaper than Great Clips for USF students. If you have ethnic hair I would definitely check this place out (saw a white guy getting his hair cut there too so they might be good with all hair types, I dont know) P.S.: They open at 9; when I got there at 9:20 I got seen right away.

Re: the new location on dale mabry and Neptune. I got a couple really good cuts here when it first opened by Moe hisself, but since then its been bad. Last cut I got, the guy had me in an out of the chair in less than 10 minutes and was botched. Today I walked in, got no reception or even acknowledgement of my presence, even though there was only one barber and one person in the chair.. After waiting patiently for 30 minutes for the guy to leisurely shave the guy's face, whilst he intently watched some cheesy comedy movie, I left. Sorry Moe, but if you want s. Tampa business you've got to have better customer service.

I havent really found a place to cut my hair that Id liked before - I tried the normal haircut chains, and just found myself satisfied with the humdrum. This place, wow, my hair and beard havent looked so good in AGES. I kick myself for not going to this place earlier! The attention to detail, and the amazing level of quality doesnt match what Ive had before. Its like looking at a new man in the mirror - clean lines, a real "crisp" finish, and professional job. I highly recommend to anyone!

I dont normally go to "barber shops" so I wasnt sure how it was going to be walking in, but the amount of time they put into cutting your hair is phenomenal! Very clean lines and great attention to detail. They even include an eyebrow trim. To top it all off the price was only $12 (Regular Cut) and $9 ($3 off) if you are a USF student! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a haircut! I didnt see hours on this page so: Mon-Sat: 9am-8pm Sun: 10am-6pm

Ive been here on multiple occasions at the beginning of their business hours (posted on the door), and they arent open. Thats the biggest negative about the place. Ive been going here for over a year for haircuts. The barbers are somewhat of a mixed bag: some are OK, some are great. Ive never had a really bad haircut here though. Prices are reasonable as well.

Awesome place. I got my haircut by the older gentleman who worked there and he was a pro. Fades and edges were very nice. Anyone who has issues with the language barrier is just impatient. I had to ask him to repeat what he said a number of times but he never seemed frustrated about it. Fantastic place and my new go-to

Always a good haircut. Nice discount for USF students as well. Only downside is the loooooong wait sometimes. Business hours listed on door arent always accurate. They open and close at their discretion. Maybe call ahead so you dont lose your trip and find out they decided to close early.

I drive 45 minutes from Lakeland to get a haircut. Its a family owned business very nice people. The best barbers in Tampa bay. Whatever you need theyll do it. Prices are reasonable. Very close to usf and they get discounts.

Not friendly at all. Took my kids for a hair cut and we had to wait for so long because they only had one barber while the other one was outside on the phone. Not great customer service will not be going back!

I personally love this place because they use razors when they give me a high fade. Listen, if youre going to complain about getting a haircut during rush hours then stop posting on here.

The guys there really dont speak much English, so they wont understand how you want your hair cut, so they will cut your hair the way THEY want to. Dont come here!

Nothing like waiting 45 minutes to get my haircut and then 3 of the workers friends who walked in after you getting to sit before you. Service sucks, nice haircuts.

The haircut was excellent. It was busy and I had to assert myself to keep my place "in line". Didnt seem like anyone was in charge. The price was very good.
