Game time with Jansel

Very unhappy.Had a terrible hair cut done from another salon,read great reviews here and thought they could at least fix my bad cut and give me the cut I wanted.Figured that by showing pictures of what I wanted would top my explanation.Not only was I charged full price of 42 dollars,by Rachel to fix my hair which not much was done, but she didnt wash my hair and blow it out but still charged me 42 bucks.I go home wash it 2 days later blow it with curling brush to see this cut was worst then original cut I got from another salon.I didnt realize it right away because she flat irioned my hair very straight.I even went back to have her fix what she did because I already spent over 100 on 2 cuts.Still didnt give me what i wanted,i didnt bother saying anything because i was afraid of walking out bald. Prices here are more then up north and the cuts are terrible,very uneven.All I wanted was a simple hair cut with LOTS of even layers and feathering and I get cheesy uneven I dont know what to call it cut with the front sides looking like poodle ears.the layers dont lay right.When you cut hair especially layers your suppose to make it even ,there is a specific way to cutting layers.How are you going to over charge someone and not make sure you give an even cut let alone what they specifically asked for.For 42 dollars I expected to walk out with a Farrah Fawcett hair cut.What made me really know it was not a good cut was visiting my daughter up north and her telling me.I dont recommend this place.

I was referred here a few years ago by another client, after moving from Tampa. The staff is always very helpful and professional. I see Ashley Jo and she does a great job. Since I know nothing about hair, other then I want mine to look good, shes been very helpful about recommending cut and color adjustments to flatter me with the seasons. Once when I was coming in before a big trip to get fixed up I got stuck in major accident traffic trying to get to my appointment and missed most of it. Even though her schedule was full, Ashley managed to get a cut and some highlights in so I could go on my trip looking like a normal person. Ive used their nail services before too, with good results. I really like the ability to schedule online, since its usually 2 a.m. when I remember I need my hair done!

At first the salon seemed nice. Nothing too fancy about the interior. But I kept an open mind and was trying a place closer to my home. Big mistake. I had stylist Frank and while he was a nice guy he completely messed up my hair. I asked for choppy layers and caramel highlights and what I ended up with was a nightmare. My choppy layers turned into a uneven mess and my highlights (that were not even to the root) were a tacky bronze color. He didnt even use scissors... He used sheers and said it was his area of expertise. He even asked me at the end if I wanted it blow dried! I left the salon feeling very unhappy and not like you are suppose to feel when you spend money in a salon. Someone needs to tell him he is far from a "color perfectionist" and monitor his cutting technique.

I just rencently got married and found Aqua Terra Salon through wedding wire. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for hair and make-up for their wedding to come here!! I had so much fun there with the staff and even the customers too! I had my whole bridal party in there the morning of the wedding and we were able to bring mimosas and bagels from Panera Bread! They even stayed after hours 2 weeks prior to my wedding prepping my hair w a cut and highlights! Sherry is amazing at what she does with hair, Morgan is just as amazing with her make-up. All my girls and I had such a wonderful experience there. I cant wait to move closer into town, so I can be right by Aqua Terra! Thanks again ladies for a very memorable experience!!

Eva is my stylist; she also has my wife and mother-in-law as clients. She complements and extends the reputation of Aquaterra with her talent and enthusiasm. While I just have my hair styled, Eva cuts, styles & colors my wifes hair; she has a complex color formula that requires an exacting application of base color and highlights, and Eva does a fantastic job every time. I highly recommend Aquaterra Salon & Spa -- all of the people associated with the establishment are first-class artisans and caring individuals.

So many positive things to say about Aquaterra! I moved and needed a good hair/waxing place near me and great reviews led me here, which did not disappoint! The online appt making is so convenient and easy. Ive had my eyebrows waxed by Amy, who makes them look PERECT! Barbara cut my hair for the first time and she did an amazing job considering I didnt give much direction. Recently I needed a haircut and I wanted highlights for the first time and Barbara was able to meet with me beforehand to go over what I wanted/what would be best. The cut and color turned out amazing! The staff is friendly, the salon is clean and its right down the road from me. Will be a longtime customer for sure!

Since moving from New York to Florida I have struggled to find a salon that I can trust... until a few years ago when I found Aquaterra Salon and Spa. The reception desk is always very helpful when working with my challenging schedule and most importantly Eva is a wonderful stylist. She is professional and honest. She has helped me grow and manage my hair from a very short style through two pregnancies. It has been a challenging few years for me and its nice to know that I have someone in my corner helping me make the best decisions while my hair has undergone a variety of changes. Im here to stay and highly recommend Eva. I trust her so much she gave my son his first haircut!

I love Aquaterra. They provide a higher caliber talent and service than most salons. They are professional and educated. It is obvious that they participate in education classes. They LISTEN. I have had my hair done by Bob & Sherry. My mother goes to Bob and my sister goes to Sherry. In fact, the haircut deemed "my best haircut" was one that Bob did for me. Their salon is lovely, their product line is great. They know and understand the products and although they do need to sell products, they do are not pushy but informative. I had a nail service also and will tell you it was PRECISE. It was a lovely long-lasting pedicure! Kudos to Aquaterra!

I love the atmosphere of the Aquaterra Salon. Everyone is friendly and says HELLO, not just my hairdresser, Ashley. It looks like a fun place to work too. I was there one morning when someone was celebrating a birthday. Goodies were brought in. Ashley is an excellent hairdresser and is always on time and never is rushed. She listens to what I want done. Jean is at the front desk when I come and I enjoy talking with her and discussing grandchildren. I have been going there for about 4 years and feel like I am seeing friends. It is a clean and happy place to go.
