HORRIBLE, I would not recommend Kitchens By Design in Vero Beach to anyone. Dealing with this company, including the owner Sadun Suranofsky has been a complete nightmare. At first glance this company is wonderful. They have a beautiful showroom and competitive pricing. We met with, Sadun, picked our cabinets and a custom made bed that he was going to build for us. Our job included a small kitchen, two bathrooms and a set of custom made wooden beds. We met with Sadun in September and were assured by him that this was a job he would be able to have done in at most 8-10 weeks. After MANY headaches and mistakes he did not complete the job until January. While working on the job his crew left a mess onsite each day that the GC company had to clean up after them. They set off the entire buildings fire alarms after carelessly cutting a wire. They still have yet to cut a check to pay the fee to the HOA for setting off the alarm which required the fire department to come out. He knew we were having a farmhouse sink installed in the kitchen, yet he did not order the correct layout of cabinets so when it came time to install the sink he held up production yet again so he could order the correct doors for the area under the sink. When installing the custom beds he built them into the wall incorrectly, even though we had signed off on drawings on how the beds should be laid out. This AGAIN held up production. In our master bathroom, again even though we had signed off on drawings he did not lay out the cabinets correctly; instead putting drawers where there was supposed to be shelving. Once the job was "completed" there was much correction to be done. There were two doors that were cracked/chipped (see pictures), a ladder on the bunk beds that was chipped off at the bottom (see pictures) and the hardware was installed un-level on multiple doors in the kitchen. Instead of correcting these errors Sadun came into our condo (he had a key from during the construction process) when we were not there and STOLE the said doors. We at first assumed that he had taken the doors back to his shop to repair them, however upon calls from our GC to him to find out when the doors were going to be returned we were told they would not be. He is holding the doors hostage in exchange for final payment, but neither my husband or our GC feel comfortable paying Sadun in full without seeing the finished product. It is impossible to trust someone who has broken one promise after another and seems to be out to cheat us. I would strongly caution anyone thinking of using Kitchens By Design to think twice.

The review from Sara Fisch is a bit out of context. The contract was with her builder and there was a lack of communication in the entire project. The job was completed after they tried to withhold payment.The damage to the ladder was not a quality issue it was caused by mishandling after they took possession, the mineral streak in the door is possible and mineral streaks are not defects as was disclosed in a wood awareness disclaimer prior to signoff as the rest of the signoffs at contract

I stopped in to ask a design question. What Im looking for is hard to explain and I dont know the correct terminology, so I stopped in to show what I meant. Well, the guy acted like I was ridiculous for wanting such a custom idea for the interior of a cabinet. He actually said, "Why would you even want that?" I replied because it would look nice. And then, he spun around and walked away. !!!
