So I walk into applewoods very excited to finally get my colored. Staff were friendly, calm atmosphere, I guess on an afternoon Sunday its not so chaotic... So My appointment time was suppose to be at 2:20pm. I came in 10 minutes early and an hour and 10 minutes later was finally seen. I had my hair colored by a tall lady, sorry I cant remember her name which is good for her I guess, she had a short shoulder length bob, dark brown burgundy color. Anywho I sat down and finally picked a color. She then proceeded to color my hair. I asked her if she can do a 2 strand peekaboo color on the inside back of my hair, she said maybe next time cause she would have to bleach and the salon closes at 5(it was 3:40 at that time) hmmmm bleaching doesnt take 2 hours... anyways, since Ive never really done my hair at a salon I didnt think about the protection of my clothes. Yes thats right! she failed to put a covering over me and got my favorite Victoria secret shirt that I was going to wear for a dinner painted. When the other ladies realized that I didnt have one on they told her if she had gone crazy in Spanish(I guess they assumed I wasnt Hispanic). She then after almost being done with my hair apologized and wrapped a cover over me, she sprayed one little dot off which I thought was the only mark. Color came out fine, average, nothing of a wow factor. I arrived home and my husband realized my shirt was ruined. When I took off the shirt to see cause I didnt believe him there it was, all over my upper back, HAIR DYE! how disappointing. I called the salon the next day and asked to speak to a manager the receptionist took my name and number but I never received a call back from the manager at this point I had a sour taste in my mouth and was beyond angry. Now Im -$90 Minus a $40 shirt. Thank you applewoods manager for being so great at not resolving issues with a customer and for having employees sorry employee (cause not all of them are at fault) who dont pay attention to details.

I usually come in for pedicures...as this is my favorite place to get them. I really like the decor of the spa and salon, it is very zen and relaxing. I feel special at this salon, and am always offered tea or water with my treatment. I have been seeing the same esthetician for many many years...over a decade, although all the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I can get squeezed in last minute, which best suits me, as I dont often know my exact schedule and rather call in when seeking availability for appointments. There is a wide range of colors to choose from and most importantly, it is an experience. When I come in for a pedicure, I am not rushed in and out. I have also found that when getting my nails done here, the polish actually stays on longer and doesnt chip as frequently as the quicker type mail salons do. I am also fanatical when it comes to germs. And I really like the fact that the pedicures are done in actual sink basins that are cleaned after each use. The salon is always super clean...from the tools used in the treatments to the floors. Because I live in Weston, this salon and spa is very convenient and the prices are great. I enjoy coming here, and plan to come back for many more decades to come.

I should have left when they had me wait 30 minutes without saying anything. Stylist Mabel was trying to do two people at once and literally said maybe 5 sentences to me over the 3.5 hours I was there for a highlight and trim. After she applied color, she went on to someone elses hair for forty minutes. I finally got someones attention to tell them that Id had bleach on my hair for 2 hours, Mabel overheard, didnt say a single thing to me, but had me sit at the rinsing station and left. After a few minutes, two stylists I was not introduced to took 40 minutes to remove the foils while speaking in Spanish over my head. Nobody said a single word to me. Maybe if i spoke Spanish I wouldnt have been treated like a second class customer, who knows. Ive never had such a bad customer service experience. The trim was fine, the color was left on too long, is uneven, and she clearly put in as few foils as possible. Front desk and manager were very pleasant, but the experience as a whole was horrible. I wont be going back.

My daughter used to go there to do her hair, nails, and massage , but ultimately she wasnt very happy with the price for doing her hair, first one of the stylist charged her $40, then the following appointment was 45 and the last appointment was $50 with the same hair size, and was the same stylist, I believe you have to be constant with the price, my neighbor went there for a hair cut to their kids, and she was telling me it was a ripped off, they charged for the boy hair cut $30.00 not even with the machine , was with the scissors and the hair end up horrible not even you can see she cut his hair,next to that hair cut they charge for that $12 ,and for the little girl to cut two inches she charged her $25 , without telling she was mad because she showed up in the middle when all of them were doing her hairs like they were the clients , for sure I will not recommend to anyone go there including me , I think the owner might shows up more often to see what are they doing , my neighbor said was a horrible experience.

I had a wonderful massage and a fabulous manicure / pedicure. From start to finish, the entire experience was perfect. The team found me an appointment at the exact time that I wanted with the exact staff members that I wanted. I was so relaxed after my massage - every muscle was stretched and rubbed - felt great! The manicure was great, and the pedicure was perfection - an ideal combination of grooming and massage - my feet felt and looked great!

Besides feeling rejuvenated from an excellent massage which when I can afford I but the 5 series package which is like a baby having a security blanket. Natasha has managed my hair like no one else ever in my life and I never loved my hair like I do now. Once during an emergency and my stylist couldnt be there Applewoods made sure a master talent stylist took very good care of me at no extra charge. Thank you Applewoods!
