This review is definitely long overdue. Elite Childrens Learning Center was a blessing from God for us. Just to provide some background, my sons previous school left much to be desired. He never wanted to go to school. Each morning it took me an additional 10-15 minutes to drop him off because he cried literally everyday. At drop off and pickup the kids would be watching a movie, which I was not too fond of. Before his 3rd birthday his old school moved him to the 3 year old room and that was the straw that broke the camels back. My son is potty trained and never has accidents at home, but suddenly he was having accidents at least 3-4 times a week. He would complain that the teacher was mean and he didnt like her. My husband and I didnt take this lightly an decided enough was enough. We began searching for a new school. There were two other contenders, but when we visited this location, it just felt right. Ms. Tammi, the director, gave us a tour and we were amazed. The teachers seemed happy like they wanted to be there and all of the kids were so engaged. It was nice and clean and the staff practiced good hygiene measures with the kids, such as making them wash their hands upon arrival, before eating, etc. Ms. Jeannies 2 year olds even counted for us in Spanish. It was truly a "what you see, is what you get" environment. No one seemed to be doing anything extra because we were visiting. We were sold and decided to enroll our son. This was by far the best decision we could have made. My son went from not liking school to loving it. I drop him off in the morning and he doesnt cry at all. When I pick him up he is excited to tell me about his day. He has advanced so much, that even his pediatrician is shocked at how much he knows for a 3 year old. He knows his colors, shapes, how to count past 20, how to count to 10 in Spanish, the days of the week, right from left, how to spell his name and write it, and the months of the year. All of the teachers are awesome and I am so thankful for them. At this school everyone works together to ensure that everything flows smoothly. They provide structure and I love it. They just dont know how much I appreciate them for providing such a loving, engaging environment for my son. I was just telling my husband yesterday that I wish their school at least went through elementary school because I dont know what I am going to do once my baby is too old to attend. Elite Childrens Learning Center has been a breath of fresh air for us. It is so relieving to not have to spend a whole day at work wondering if my child is okay. This school makes you feel comfortable and reassures you that your child will be well taken care of. I will recommend this school to anyone!!!

I was very upset writing the original review Thursday but it has since been deleted. However, it was the absolute truth and upon speaking with three others parents whom have had their child at this location. We all noticed the same things. This daycare is a really great one but very cliché when it comes to the typical attitudes of black women. From Ms. Tami, to Ms. Sherri, and from one daycare owner to another, this is never acceptable. In the 3 year old classroom, the teacher (Ms. Sherry) is really mean and treats them like soldiers. Everyone is nice and very respectable when the owner (Shantal) is there but other than that, there is too much attitude, theyre always asking for donations and every single time I walked in to pick up my baby, they were telling me something new that she had done. She is 3! They are mean, then nice, then antisocial then very talkative. I also, heard from three additional people, not including my daughter that when and if the children, have been acting up, they do not get a snack. Some serious reevaluating needs to happen here because I know for a fact at least 5 other parents are looking to pull their children out asap. The curriculum is the other thing setting this school aside from any other one. Before, pulling her out of this location all together, I decided to check out the canton location and regretted it almost immediately. It looks like bankhead in there! I mean seriously. Smh. I hate to see a business with potential get pulled down from the inside out. And no, I did not bring these to issues to the owners attention because Im just tired of the entire center all together. More parents need to speak up and speak out about what really goes on in this center because Lord knows, its not all 5 star worthy!

We enrolled our child in this school, a few weeks after the school year started. We were coming from a daycare center with excellent administration, but the teaching was becoming substandard. From the tour of ECLC, we were impressed with the attention being given to each child. This place was being run like an actual school. It felt like a safe learning environment. Ms. Tammy, the administrator, knew each child’s name and they were happy to see her as showed us each classroom. We were very impressed with the caregivers even in the infant room. I have been on tours where “caregivers” are in pajamas and are on their cell phones seeming to just “go through the motions”. This was NOT the case at ECLC. The teachers were in uniform, spoke proper English and were very attentive. We were interested in the 4 year old/private pre-k class. Mrs. Sherry is the teacher and she made it clear that her class was advanced and she prepares her students for kindergarten. Skipping ahead 4 months, we must say that this place has been OUTSTANDING! Our child is reading, identifying shapes, identifying numbers, using Sign Language, speaking Spanish, putting together 45pc puzzles, and completes her homework all while being excited about going to school each day. I must say that Mrs. Sherry and Ms. Tammy are the type of people who you would want your child to be around everyday. They represent respect and the type of foundation that you want for your child. We would also like to say that the owner of this place is obviously very much involved. The center is always clean and organized. We are so happy to have found ECLC!

The curriculum is excellent. I like that it is a private curriculum so it exceeds all basic standards. Being a teacher and now a professor I understand the importance of a stable and strong educational foundation. I feel that at Elite in Austell my child is receiving that Foundation. The tuition is very reasonable and I like the fact that you have to buy uniforms in order to keep your childs clothing from getting messed up if they do a fun event. Ms. Tammy the director is hands on and involved in the every day activities. My childs teacher Mrs. Sherri is one of the best teachers. Shes hard yet far and truly love and care for the children. She is truly a blessing. The two-year-old teacher is a joy to be around. Her spirit and joy that she brings to the classroom makes me want to have another child just so she could be there teacher.
