I am thoroughly disappointed with Sheltering Arms in Chamblee. The so-called management staff (Tonya, in particular) is extremely unprofessional. My child has been bitten by another classmate and neither me or my husband were informed. Further, no incident report was filed. I had to take a picture to school the next day to prove to them that my child was in fact bitten. The teachers and other staff then proceeded to convince me that this happens quite often and they miss it because kids dont always cry when bitten. The uploaded photo clearly shows an entire mouth of teeth marking on my childs arm, red, skin raised and all. No way he didnt pitch a scream! When I pressed the issue and requested a investigation, I was met with indifference and an attitude of "we cant help the way you feel." I was also told I should volunteer to experience what teachers go through. No, I pay you for that reason. And while we have attended and volunteered at every activity so far, it is YOUR job to pay attention to my kid. And, the teachers are subpar, at best. Weve only been there for less than 3 months; needless to say, we are seeking another establishment. I would not recommend taking your toddler to Sheltering Arms in Chamblee!

My son has attended the Chamblee location since August 2016. I am very happy with the teachers and staff. Even more important is the growth and development he receives. He went from being kept at home by his Great Grandma, so I was concerned initially with placing him in daycare. Sheltering arms employees care a lot about the children. They have a lot of events and a curriculum for the children. They also have healthy meal choices. I would like to express special thanks to the following teachers , Ms. Marshay, Ms. Alea, and Ms. Nazma. You guys are the best! Thank you for taking such good care of our son.

What could I say, they try their best to teach our kids everything. .... reading writing everything, its hard to manage 5 babies trying at once 15- 2 years old or 22 pre-k running around. ... I have no complaints what so ever. ..

I send my daughter here, because I really like teachers, staff, and facilities. Student-teacher ratio is great. Tuition is very reasonable and provide meals.
