Ive tried this place 3 times 2 times I have walked out there with my hair butchered. the last time I went there my hair was about 7 inches long I could brush it behind my ears and was trying to grow it out a little longer. I told the girl I wanted a trim I wanted to keep the long hair when I got out to my car I realized just how short she cut my hair my hair now is not even 4 inches long we talked in detail about how I wanted my hair cut and I thought we were on the same page but in the end it was way to short and she didnt cut around my ears at all. I am 100 % disappointed in this hair cut and will not be returning. the 2nd time I went in the same basic problems the guy didnt cut my hair how I told him I wanted it. they do have a clean very nice shop. they are all really nice but I have had 3 different people cut my hair and only one gave me a good hair cut. which is the only reason I give them 2 stars and will not be returning.

My boyfriend got his hair cut tonight here. From the moment we walked in we were surprised at how nice this place looked. Granted it had only been there for 2 months from what they said and could use a little color but its a really nice place. Shawn took care of him and did exactly what he wanted. My boyfriend showed him a picture of what he wanted and he did his best to replicate the cut. It was probably the best haircut I have seen done on him and his beard looked great too. Not to mention that they were super friendly and funny and had me laughing a lot. I was just sitting and waiting and they offered me drinks and even struck up a conversation about music and he played what I mentioned. They told me Shawn did womens hair for 12 years so now Im tempted to get my hair done there as well. I would highly recommend this place if you are not sure where to go. They are a lot of fun but still professional at the same time.

Im giving 3 stars because the first 3 haircuts came out fine on my 11 year old son. We always had a wait a long time, but fine, they cut his hair the way I asked. The girl who we always got left the company so we had to wait for the next available barber in a very packed waiting room. The next barber to finish up skipped over my son to cut a mans hair instead even though we had been waiting longer. Okay, you own the place, its your choice if you dont want to cut a boys hair. But the guy we got butchered his hair. Id never seen him there before so Im not sure if he was new. He was a nice guy but I asked for length on top, no military cut and I wanted it short on sides and back. He failed to blend it like I asked and the sides stuck out. Also the top was very short, which I asked him not to do. I wasnt happy with his last cut at all, and with the long wait times, I will try someplace else.

A friend recommended Cumming Barber Shop, and I couldnt be happier with them. I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is second to none, and the pricing for services are like a dream. Ive visited a few upscale establishments in Atlanta a few times and always ended up paying upwards of $100 for a haircut and beard trim, and never really felt like I got what I was paying for. When I go here, Hardy is my barber of choice. I always get a hair cut, beard trim, and a hot shave, and walk out feeling like I got more than my moneys worth. He always answers any questions I have and gives any advice he feels I need. Hardy is truly a master artisan. Ive also never felt unnecessary pressure to buy products while Im paying for my services. Ask for Hardy or Karill. You absolutely will not be disappointed. As far as Im concerned, I have a barber for life.

These guys are my favorite!!!! My husband and 7yr old son love going to get their hair cut by Joey and Kiril! When we walk in, they all know us though and go out of their way to make us feel welcome! Joey takes his time and is so amazing with my son who doesnt always ask for easy haircuts! (Awesome mohawk with double hard lines) Everytime I look over, they are chatting away about something as well as the rest of the barbers join the conversation and make his day! Its hard to find somewhere that really can connect with kids AND do a phenomal job! My son walks out on cloud 9 because they all make him feel special and call him "superman" with fist bumps on the way out!

My son, brother, and husband all use Cam and have always had an amazing cut. My son is 4 and last time waited for about 1.5 if not more just so he could have Cam. He could have been seen sooner but would have none of it. My brother while out of town had a hair cut and sent me a text saying they messed his hair up and he was going to have to go in and see Cam so he could fix it. My husband had the same hair cut for 15 years and Cam convinced him to try something new which we both love every variation of the style they decided on as well as every style he has done on my son. We cant say enough of how much we love Cumming Barber Shop and refer people all the time!

This is Mike. I got my haircut from Hardy earlier today and I just had to write a review. The under cut he gave me was perfect. Ive been growing my hair out for a while, and so I was definitely a little nervous walking in. He was very personable and knew exactly what he was doing. He took his time and ensured that everything was to my liking. I liked the fact that he explained thoroughly on why the style suits me. I havent had my haircut in over a year and I will for sure be coming back for touch ups. Go over there, stop looking at more reviews and ask for Hardy. Im 100% certain you will not be disappointed.

Great service, thank you Hardy! This business is doing well, for a reason. I had to wait 15 only minutes, spacious waiting area, friendly customers, did not have an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. Hardy is one of three barbers I noticed. All are friendly and professional from what I saw. Good recommendations on my haircut! Then, I was surprised with a steamy warm towel, which in an aromatic sensation took my breath for a second. That was amazing! But the treatment wasnt over yet. A short neck and shoulder massage made that trip to the BarberShop Cumming, Georgia a truly unique experience! Thank you!

Waited an hour for a 10 minute chop job. The barber ignored my requests to taper the sideburns and keep the length at four inches, and made no effort to stylize or even brush the hair after the cut. Attempts at conversation were met with silence. It seemed like she was in a hurry to get me out of there and move on to the next guy. The waiting room was too small and lacked enough chairs to accommodate the guests. The music was an assault on the senses. Twenty bucks for a haircut that barely meets the low bar standards of a Great Clips cut. Feel like I was robbed. First and last time customer.
