I went to this shop based on the reviews from Yelp and Goggle+ that recommended the high degree of personal service, and I was impressed. Mark took the time to make sure he understood what I wanted and stopped at several points along the way to make sure he was following my directions. While I was there, a few other people came in, and he addressed them and gave them approximate wait times, but he didnt hurry my cut, which made me feel valued as a client/customer. The haircut was great and the price is less than many other places around Decatur. The only caveat is that he is a sole operator, so you might have to wait if someone else is ahead of you, but when its your turn in the chair, youll be glad that you are getting the undivided attention you deserve. I would recommend he add free WIFI to help with any wait times. Give this place a shot, and I think youll be impressed.

Ive now been here two times. Hesitant about trying a new barber, the first time I walked in, I said "lets see what you got, no instruction just make me look good" and sure enough I walked out with something Id never had before and really liked it! The next visit wasnt even for me. My dad came in town from another state, but badly needed a haircut, and the same thing "Make him look good again!" HE DID GREAT! Not only was my father impressed, but I was again! Every time I come in, I am greeted by my first name, he remembers who I am, what I do, my hobbies and I actually enjoy speaking with him. I will continue to recommend this Barber Shop to all of my friends and strangers because I believe he does the best work around. I just had my 2nd cut, and sure enough... killed it again! IF you are questioning whether or not to go here, I say YES, 100% of the time.

I just happened upon this Barber Shop after seeing the sign on Clairmont. Ive been frequenting barber shops for 25 years and needed a new one after I moved. From the moment I walked in, Mark was responsive and let me know that one customer was ahead of me and the approximate wait time. He had great interaction with the customer before me and continued this service with me. The haircut was fantastic as he paid great attention to detail and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied before I even left the chair. Conversation flowed easily and it felt as if I was talking with someone I had known for a long time. I couldnt be happier with the result and look forward to returning here for all future cuts. If you prefer quality over quantity then this is definitely the place for you. Definitely 5 stars!

Tried this place out after moving to Atlanta and reading the reviews and have been coming back ever since. Mark, the owner, is phenomenal - all the other praise reviews are true - he really pays attention to detail and genuinely cares about giving QUALITY haircuts. What some of the other reviews neglect is that, yes, Mark is awesome, but so are his other hair cutters. My first time here, I had a newer employee and when she needed a little help, Mark took the time to come over and really explain and help train/educate her and made a good haircut great! Since then Ive also had a couple others besides Mark, but theyve all been fantastic. I cant say enough good things about this place and on top of everything... its only $17! Incredible.

Truly a GREAT haircut experience. The shop is new, the owner is a very talented barber, and he makes you feel like an old friend from the moment you sit in the chair. I decided to go based on the recommendation of someone who had his hair cut there. I could not have been more HAPPY I decided to get my haircut at Emory Haircutters. The cut is even, textured, and polished all the way around. Please GO and see for yourself (we need a good barber shop in the area that is not a repository for those who merely think they can cut hair). I am VERY PICKY and do not generally write reviews, but this fantastic haircut warrants one. So, 5 stars from me.

I cant explain how good it is to find a barber thats more focused on my hair than if his fixie and handlebar mustache are in check. Price is very very reasonable and again I cant overstate that the focus he took to my cut was exactly the way I expect. Unfortunately, other barber shops in ATL are worried about other things. Check this place out I highly recommend it.

Got the attention to my hair that I wanted. He gave me an idea of what he was going to do and why. Really corrected the mistakes that the "chain" haircutters seem to do. First time customer so I got a free wash. A professional cut with full attention to detail for a lower price than anywhere else. Best "real" haircut for men around.

Mark is easy to talk to and always provides a great cut. The price is just slightly higher than Great Clips or Supercuts, but I never have to do touch-ups at home afterwards. I also never feel like I have to wait a week after I get it cut for my hair to look or feel right. The service you are getting is a deal at this price.

Im brand new to the area and chose this place randomly after reading a few very solid reviews. No frills or gimmicks, just a good, fast, and stylish scissor haircut...topped off by a straight-edge neck shave. And only for $17. This will definitely be my go-to haircut place from now on.
