I worked at this school (Fayetteville location) for a few weeks. Loved working with my partner and our students. However, I am displeased with the establishment because I was fired for making a suggestion to a parent that she brings cold bottles of water in for her kids to drink when were outside in 80+ degree weather. I was NEVER trained on the dos and donts and thought nothing of it since schools like KIDS R KIDS, OXFORD TRAILS ACADEMY ETC all allow teachers to suggest that parents bring water bottles for their kids. Ive never heard of such a reason for a teacher to be terminated. Maybe I cared too much. However, I will take my issue to someone with a bit more power and make sure that this never happens to a new hire again. In response to the comment below, my suggestion was harmless and heart felt. My only concern when making such a suggestion about bringing in cold water, was to make sure that the kids were kept cool while out in 80+ degree weather. As for the meetings, I attended two, and engaged when asked. I even attended the social that the school had, despite being notified 3 days before the event. Even then, I not only helped set up the event, but I also assisted with games until it was time for me to leave. Of course, to some of the staff they may have viewed me as an outcast because of my character, however, I NEVER EVER used my beliefs as reason to make such a harmless suggestion about bringing in cold water. Prior to making the suggestion I had not been properly trained on the dos and donts for this school. As a matter of fact, on Wednesday (July 19), the director made a comment during the meeting that was held, stating that we should get the parents involved more, engage with them etc.. thats what was on my mind when I made the decision to suggest that the parent bring in cold bottles of water. I have experience in child care. Even worked at schools in PEACHTREE City. The parents there never complained about water etc.. because they knew that the teachers took pride in ensuring that their children were being well taken care of while at school. Also, the director herself stated that the parent had been complaining way before Id even joined the team of teachers at the Fayetteville location. What happened to me was despicable and I wouldnt wish such embarrassment on any teacher who truly cares about the well being of her students. Thats my truth. Sadly, it seems as if the staff members are simply disgruntled and are profiling me because of our personal beliefs and differences. If I had the funds to provide water bottles for the children in my class, I wouldve supplied them without batting an eye..

The Worst School Ever!!!! Ok so my Daughter attend Rainbow Child care center in Fayetteville Ga Private PreK program August 8,2016 but previous to that I went in for Orientation and the Director Ms Oliver and Assisant director Ms Andrews was telling the parents how the Children would be on this so called Plot program were they would be well equipped for Kindergarten how they would be learning about a entire catalog of Math,Shapes, Language Etc so me and my childs father sat and talk and decide to pick this school for her to Attend! Ok so about a month in to the new school I didnt see any kind school work. So I ask my child questions about what they were doing Throughout the school day and her response was "nothing just playing with my friends" ok, so I still gave the school a chance and brushed it off thinking they would come around soon maybe they were just trying to get into the swing of things...So mid September 2016 I wasnt seeing anything my child book bag would come home empty everyday I would ask her what she did at school and I was getting the same answer so I went and had a Talk with her teacher like whats going on my child bookbag is coming home each day empty and Ms Jones (Teacher) told me next week I was getting the same answer! So I came in Last Friday to pick up my Child and Ms Oliver asked to speak to me and she asked me what was going on and my response was what do you mean whats going on the teacher Ms Jones went and told Ms Oliver I was being unprofessional just because I was asking her questions about my child learning and not getting work done I was shocked Ms Oliver would even call me in for a meeting just for asking a teacher about my Child period!!!! She (Ms Oliver) always went on to tell me she was "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES ON OUTSIDE HER OFFICE" I told her clearly you are Responsible as a Director if a teacher is not doing her job!! Ms Oliver is A Rude and Nasty lady who does not deserve to be a Director of a School at all!! Ms Jones to me seems as she just there for a pay check and not the well being of Her Kids!!! Rainbow In Fayetteville Ga is the Worst I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone!!!

We are new to Georgia and came to RCC after having a horrible experience at another daycare not too far from RCC. The directors were fantastic from the moment we walked in and eased my fears and assured me my experience with them would be completely different than the other place. THEY WERE RIGHT! not only do they know each kids name when they come and go, the teachers are fantastic and patient and got my son potty trained in 5 days. He is confident, is making friends and loves his teachers and the directors. He comes in and hugs them and has to hug them again when we leave to go home. This place is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for their child to learn and grow and feel safe.

This place has nothing but a great staff. The atmosphere is very positive and the ladies that work here are always cordial and respectful to our parents and potential clients. We strive to make our school feel comfortable and welcoming. The statement that was made from Kimberly Washington is oblivious. She shouldnt have offended a parent with her personal beliefs. We have access to cold water at all times and we serve complete balanced meals. She only worked with us for 30 days and did even want to be a team player at all in our staff meetings. Dont take your personal problems out on the RCCC Fvl staff. We did not deserve that! Its sad you try to ruin our accountability because you think one sided. SMHF!!!!!

Wow, so is it that the when an African woman does not eat meat and certain entrees that the majority eats, she becomes profiled and label as a non team player. Sound like this place is unethical and unorganized. As a parent I am concerned for my childs well being if there is no cool water being served after my child has spent fourty-five minutes running around playing in 85 degree weather. Thats an alarm for heat casualties!! Some one need to call channel 2 news this is absurd!

To slander someones name is discrediting. Providing water for kids when it is 90 plus degrees in Georgia is a high priority and should always be. To fire someone for giving kids cold water that was provided by their own parent is disgraceful. I feel like the government should revise the regulations on Childcare here to prevent more bad incidents from taking place and to protect the teachers when they have a genuine concern for the well being of children.
