I have a special needs child with specific dietary needs. The center provides snacks for the children. They also provide dinner for the children if the child is there past 5pm. I was told that they are mandated by a government agency to do this, as they participate in the "Food and Nutrition Program". The snacks and dinner the center provides are not not nutritious enough for her and I spoke to them at great length about her needs before I signed my child up for after school care. The staff assured me that I could provide appropriate snacks for my child and they would forgo feeding her dinner so long I could furnish them a note from my childs pediatrician. A note was given to the center from my childs doctor. Despite having a doctors note stating that they could not meet my daughters nutritional needs, they made her eat the food they provide. This was done twice on consecutive days. On the first day it occurred I asked them for the name of the government agency which mandates that they feed children dinner. Instead of providing me with the agencys name, they gave me their food distributors name instead of the agency. The owner has never been available to speak with when I have called or asked in person to speak with them. If you have a child with medical needs, dont place them in this daycare because they refuse to obey doctors orders. My child would have become rather ill had she continued to go there.

The management changes too much and there were many times where I complained to owner about a certain manager and yet she still does these rude, unproffessional things!!! The owner seems to not know how to run her own buisness. The teachers are great! They run the buisness as if its their own. I know for a fact ms.jasmine, ms.ivory, ms.sandi, ms.zarane,ms.tonia, and the infant room teachers are the best that ever happend to the owner!! Theres no supplies, but children learn twice as much as teachers try 10x harder with what they have.. The 3/4yr old classroom was a mess until ms.jasmine got in their and since then its been the best!!! So I say if u want the right discipline, learning, safety, love, cleaning....this isthe best daycare to make you and your child feel at home!!! But bad owner (who makes me sick) and manager by the name of tammie I think....who dont care for the kids just money!!! Sad

The female staff is very petty, The women at this institution need to be ashamed of themselves, they were extremely insensitive, always have their hand out. My daughters stated that the after-care females pinch the children to get them to listen. I wouldnt recommend this place to a flea. Life has enough struggles as it is without females intentional trying to make it harder by trying to add more stress to hard working parents. There is no appreciation for customers and If I could suggest they would grow up that would be my best suggestion. It really sucks because the infant room staff is very pleasant. I wouldnt do business with the likes of people like this again. Laneisha

Horrible, unprofessional, and poor use of judgment. The director, Brittney, is extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional. My daughter will be pulling my grandson out of this daycare immediately. Today was the final straw, after picking him up, hes dressed in a pink princess gown. Are you kidding me? She is telling me how they cant force them to wear anything differently. Hes a little boy they plays with swords, trucks, and cars. But at your school he chooses to wear a pink princess gown? highly unlikely. I am beyond annoyed with this establishment.

Nice staff, but not very good at early childhood development. Very young and inexperienced teachers seems like. All the younger kids do is play, hardly any kind of curriculum. No end of day report card on progress and my little one seems not to be learning anything new Songs/Words ect. My child was in another school and everyday came home and had learned something new.....for the price this place is not worth it.

I am so grateful for this center. My two children love this place. My daughter has attended for 3 years and my son 2 years. The staff is wonderful. The teachers are always open to discuss any concerns I may have. It takes special people to work with children and the staff at Discovery Point are really special to our family. Thank you so much. The Management team and staff at this center are remarkable. I have been with this center over 7 years and have had 3 kids attend. The staff is caring and hands on with children. I feel safe and comfortable leaving my children here.
