I was a faithful customer of sew-in styling and maintenance for 1.5yrs. Gwen is an awesome Weave/Extension stylist! I began going to her because I had crazy sew-in installs & matted weave (cheap weave), she made MIRACLES happen! So I finally let Gwen perform the sew-in install herself, thinking I should just start off "right" this time and let her have the “install business”. BAD IDEA! I was sure to get quality $100 hair, so that the hair quality wouldnt be an issue. When she installed it, it was VERY VERY LOOSE! The a few days after her install, I had to go over her work and tighten 3-4 rows. I used thread of a different color so that she could see the problem areas. I called her and sent her pictures of what I did and All the problem/affected areas. After explaining the issue, she plainly told me she will not refund my money. That was her policy. I was very surprised. I had been a customer of hers for since I moved to Georgia and although I didn’t go every week, she was always had first rights to my business (except for installs). There was no consideration for the business I had given. I wanted a refund and I did not want her to "fix it"... if she didnt do it correctly during the first attempt then there was nothing that could be done, based on her abilities. I severed that professional relationship. (Not to mention Gwen’s assistant accidentally burned my full lace $200.00 Brazilian wig in the shops microwave prior to this incident – she serviced a quick weave as recompense but did not replace it.) However, Styles Ali, Gwen’s business partner and fellow stylist in this location can reaaaaalllllyyy sew-in some hair!!!!!! I went to her for an install at a different location before I discovered they knew one another. I would return to Styles but I cant sit in the shop; because of the Gwen incident and because Styles can be unprofessional while servicing her clients.

While getting my hair done i noticed alot of phone calls coming thru and no one showing up...someone seems to be playing on her phone ALOT!!!!! I can see why...regardless of the fake phone calls her and her daughter managed a miracle and every lady that left before me left feeling the same way i did FLAWLESS and like i really got more than i paid for...WILL BE BACK. I see why they hating...u cant beat her prices with hair included
