So I wrote a great review for this salon back in November, however; if you value good communication skills and want to know what youre paying for before they empty your bank account, stay away from here!!! lol But seriously, I went in to see Enzo in November for a color and cut and then went back a couple months after to get the same color because I liked it so much. I mentioned to a friend of mine what the name of the color was and he informed me it was a semi-permanent color....all the while I was believing it to be a permanent color since this is what I spoke to Enzo about in the salon!! So every time I washed my hair I was basically washing all my money down the drain. So disappointing. Aside from that complaint, I also called and scheduled an appointment to bring my son in for a cut and received the worst customer service. His appointment was cancelled 30 minutes before the appt time and they were not flexible in even rescheduling it! (that really didnt make me feel like a valued customer at all). So given both of these circumstance I was going to leave well enough alone and move on, but first I decided I should at least contact management to inform them of all of this so that they know why they are losing a customer this time. I called and spoke to someone who told me she was the manager and she was very receptive, nice, and polite. She agreed with me about the color mishap and informed me that in her opinion that should not have happened at all and she understood my frustration with being misled with that. She offered a solution of me coming back in for an appt with the owner, a master stylist. I asked specifically what I would have to pay since cost is very important nowadays. She told me that I would not have to worry about it, but that they just wanted to right the wrong that was made. I believe in giving everybody a shot so I went for it. Trying to make a long story short, I go in for the appt and at no time during the whole process did the owner EVER mention any costs associated with any of the treatments she was performing on my hair (nor did she ask if it was something I even had the money for). I was thinking that since the "manager" told me that I wouldnt have to worry about a pricey process that I really wouldnt.....my surprise!!! AGAIN! I got to the register to pay for, what I thought was going to be just a cut because I was led to believe the color was going to be comped.....negative. My total came to the full price of what I was paying when I saw Enzo! I did receive 50% off of the color, but I walked out still paying $150 for services I had no clue I was going to be stuck with the bill for. WTF. At no time did the owner, JOY, ever tell me how much anything was costing during her process. I was basically trapped and misled. Not only did I get rooked, but I have very long hair, I told the stylist I wanted to keep my length, after I left I realized she chopped off way more than necessary. (hmmmmm.....pay back?) completely unprofessional if so. The color was good, but the cut sucked based on that fact alone. As a habit, I did tip the stylist a small amount, but now Im upset with myself for wasting my money on that. I will never ever ever ever step foot in this place again. If you go here, make sure you have a DETAILED convo with your stylist about what youre getting for what amount. Lesson learned to me and BEWARE to the rest of you all.

Long review- but beyond worth the read. I wouldnt even give a single star, but you have to choose something. PLEASE read before you consider booking an appointment here! I was a new client for the first time in March- I was simply getting a simple trim and highlights... it took Kimmie four hours to do this. As the salon says "I have thick hair"- yes, I do. But not four hours worth! Ive been dying my hair for years. THE BIG ISSUE IS THIS!!!! I decided to give the salon a second chance with a new stylist- Stephanie. As soon as I sat down in the chair, Stephanie was upset that my appointment was scheduled when it was because she had myself as well as another balayage customer booked too close together. I thought it was rude to show that irritation out loud with the client. She then asks what I want, I explained that I wanted a caramel blonde balayage. She told me she wouldnt do that, she was going to dye my roots brown and lighten the ends because brown looks better with blue eyes- even when I expressed dislike for that, I wanted blonde. She said shes the stylist, shes the professional, and she knows best. Before I know it, shes slapping color on and sat me in the processing room with dye on my hair while she put dye in her next clients hair. I sat for an HOUR & FIFTEEN minutes with BLONDE dye on my hair. She washed my hair, lightly trimmed and lightly blew my hair out into a fluffball. I immediately hated the color and texture of my hair. Go to pay? My $105 appointment turned into $280 and no one can explain why or how. Better yet, I pay, get to my home where the receptionist called me asking for my card number because she failed to charge me the correct amount. UNPROFESSIONAL. Fast forward a few weeks, my hair has been brittle, falling out, and dry like a broom all the way to the root. Never before has my hair been so awful. Im not paying another salon to do deep conditioning treatments, had to buy salon power shampoo and conditioner to help moisturize, & every few days a coconut mask. I call the salon to speak with them- called 20 times with no answer or returned voicemail. So I drive 45 minutes one way to the salon for the owner and manager to not be present and the other staff to be helpless. Finally speak with the manager today who said she cant authorize a refund so she has the owner Joi call me who was RUDE, who stated that my hair falling out is MY fault for wearing my hair in a bun for work, and that she sees no wrong in what took place at her salon. "She knows her staff and nothing Im saying sounds like them". She REFUSED to make the situation right, saying if I had complained immediately they would have fixed my hair but I wanted a new salon who knows what theyre doing to work with my hair! The owner Joi was sarcastic, rude, and doesnt place value in her clients. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Bottom line...Theo is fantastic! I had always been a "chair hopper" when it came to making an appointment to have my hair done. If the website was easy to navigate, the spot looked trendy and the prices were reasonable than I would choose that salon. I found Fresche by that same process. How lucky I was because now I plan to have Theo do my hair until one of us moves away or on to other things! From the introduction to the blowout and paying the bill...I was and still am a satisfied customer. In addition to his knowledge and skills he is also a pleasure to interact with. He made me feel very relaxed and at home...especially during the wash :-) By the end of my visit I feel refreshed and I look great. Im very picky about my appearance but I never need to worry when Im here. I would recommend him to anybody on any day!
