Business hours said 9-6, also says Tues/Wed are best days for walkins (its tues), open sign was up but no one there. So I texted and said hey why arent guys you open, thinking maybe they just went out for a bit. His response was "cause i dont have to and whos this?" Then he called me and threatened if I come into his barber shop ever again were gonna get "froggy." Dont rely on the business hours and definitely dont bring children. The place is grungy anyway and from the sound of it, hes not against starting violence in his own shop. So Id definitely rate customer service a -1. Used to love it, but i saw this guys evil side today, and it didnt take much to bring it out.

Just left Jayz. They did a wonderful job on my sons hair, took their time and did not rush even tho (we did not have an appt.) there were several others waiting. The gentleman cutting my sons hair talked to my son the whole time and made him feel like he was the customer and not his parent. I feel bad because my son paid but did not think to leave a tip but we will be going back and will be leaving a tip next time for sure.

Made the mistake of trying to buzz my own hair. Long story short. End up here. Was told the barbers were not there but this woman could cut my hair/clean it up. Asked if she could fade it all up. Spent less than 10 minutes, barely cleaned around my ears amd didnt clean up my neck. Was charged 15$ and they dont take cards she said. So had to get cash and come back. Very nice lady. But will never be going back

I have gone to Jayz now for over two months and every time I get my hair cut it is PERFECT! If you are looking for a place you can go where there is consistency with getting the style you want then I definitely recommend that you get your hair cut here! Stop wasting your money like I was at corporate hair places that cycle through barbers faster than a buttered bullet.

Man I moved up idaho like 5 yrs ago and Ive tried a lot of so called "barber shops" but for the last year and half Ive been going and let me tell you its by fare the best in the valley.I take my son in every two weeks to get a cut and he always cuts it just how he like it. All I have to say is to try them out, they will make you feel like family

Been coming to Jay for 3 years now since I moved down here from Los Angeles. Jay is a perfectionist and does a good job every single time. Its hard to get a good taper out here in Idaho coming from LA. I WOULD RECOMMEND JAYS BARBER SHOP IN A HEART BEAT...Keep up the good work Jay and crew.

Great haircut and great service. These guys are probably the coolest barbers I have met. After my haircut I watched a movie with Jay while my friend had her hair cut. Great place, great guys, and great service.
