Your website was very easy to use. That was the only pleasant thing about my service. I made the appt for a backed up sewer drain. Upon arrival, Anthony informed me that all dogs and cats had to be locked up and that it was a policy. I can understand that, it would just be nice if the dispatcher could have informed me and this wouldve been done before Anthonys arrival. I was later told that he is afraid of animals. Anthony went Downstairs and immediately diagnosed the problem as being a clog in the stack. He also said I needed a plumber out. He did call and request one. He told me that I would be getting a call shortly. No call, he just arrived. Very nice, dont remember his name though, we discovered that the previous owners had done some do it yourself plumbing and that if he put the pipes back how they were, he could not guarantee his work. I was fine with that. He called and got Anthony back out. The two of them talked for a few minutes and came up and told me that the boss caught wind of it and said he couldnt do that. I said ok, lets do it correct way. After all was said and done, this job ended up costing almost 500.00. Ok. I felt that Atleast this way, it was done to code. Anthony came back and had me sign his paperwork then he wrote not guaranteed. I asked why and he said because he has to come back w a line w a camera on it. I asked how much will that cost and he said it shouldnt cost anything. He called someone to make an appointment and none were available for the next few days,so he told me that they would call me for an appointment. The other guy came in and had me sign his paperwork this time I signed a separate paper for no guarantee. I was confused because I thought we did the repair to code. At this point, I was irritated and wanted them out of my house. Later that night, I received a call from another person saying they are on their way to look at the damage that was caused to all the drywall and everything else. I told him that it wasnt necessary to come out and that I didnt request that. We have no drywall, the basement is completely unfinished. He was insisting that he come out and that he was referred by Roto Rooter to come out. I told him again, not necessary, I was almost arguing with him at this point. I specifically did not mark clean up on the webpage. My appt was on the ninth, I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this camera line. So here I am, paid 500.00 for unguaranteed work. Another complaint I have is that the first time Anthony came, he looked completely unprofessional and continued to spit. He spit in my basement and almost continuously outside. Very unprofessional. Please, do not contact me about the camera probe. I am not interested in having anyone from Roto Rooter in my house.

If Roto Rooter had its own top University, all potential plumbers should be required to attend your University before receiving their Masters Degree as certified service people! Unfortunately, your companies standard of excellence does not exist with other plumbing companies. Mr. Steven Brough did an outstanding job. He was very experienced and very knowledgeable. He made absolutely sure that the job was done as completely and as thoroughly as possible. His goal was to make sure that my plumbing needs were met, period. After two days of trouble shooting a backed up condensation drain for my HVAC I finally threw in the towel and called Roto Rooter at 8pm. I didnt expect a technician to come out for at least a couple days because of the recent heavy rain and flooding in the area. To my surprise the customer service agent said that a technician would be there within the next four hours. Steven the technician showed up within two hours. He was very polite and professional. He listened to what I had to say about the issue and then explained exactly what he planned to do to correct the problem. Steven snaked the line with a professional auger and then stuck around and ensured that the clog in the drain was gone. Steven did an exceptional job cleaning up the work area. The work was done timely, professionally, and the cost was communicated clearly before he started. I think that good customer service is hard to find these days so it was great to have a technician like Steven to remind homeowners like me that there are still good companies out there. The price was fair and best of all the work comes with a 6mo guaranty. No complaints on my end!

I had to call in to Roto-Rooter to report a clogged drain in my storage room which left behind a mess. I made the call around 9:30 that evening and the technician, Steve, was there within about an hour-and-a-half. I was truly impressed with how quickly he arrived. He was down there for a good 45 minutes and had go pretty deep into the pipes. This has been a recurring problem as a tree in the front yard has roots which sometimes go right into the pipe. Steve was able to cut right through them and pull them out. He was very professional and personable. I truly appreciated how friendly he was as well as how well he explained the situation. I definitely recommend not only Roto-Rooter, but also this branch in Belleville which works around the clock. I give 5 stars for their attention to my problem in a timely manner as well as the professionalism of their technician, Steve.

We had a sewage back up in one of our apartment buildings that was backing up on the entire first floor. Needless to say, I was a bit frazzled, especially not knowing really any answers to questions Steven was asking for how to treat it and previous history. However, Steven was absolutely wonderful. He was so accommodating and worked very hard to make sure not only that the drain was cleared out, but that I understood potential causes and how to take more preventative measures. He helped me to schedule a time to have someone come in with a camera and take a more in-depth look at our pipes. He made the very best of an awful situation and Im very appreciative that he went above and beyond to help me navigate it. I will definitely be calling them for not only future issues, but preventative measures as well.

UNBELIEVABLE! Roto Rooter was fantastic. Scheduling was easy. They bid and completed the job all in a days work. My wife and I had two other reputable plumbers in to review and look to fix the issue as well. All they did was not show up as well as want to do costly and unessecarry work. When I reached out to Roto Rooter they cam the next day, diagnosed the problem within 45 minutes, gave us a very reasonable quote to fix, and completed within two hours. In that time 3 other team members came out to ensure no other problems were taking place and to provide a second set of eyes. We were certainly appreciative of that. Please call Roto Rooters for any plumbing work or needs you have. They are fantastic. I now see why they get 5 star reviews. Its for sure earned.
