I highly recommend Factory Plaza. I initially went to another place on Grand Ave in Chicago and it was the worst decision I ever made - a total nightmare. I would go to Factory Plaza again first for any granite or other stone. At Factory Plaza, you walk in, you get a sheet that clearly shows price per square foot for all their granite, quartz and other materials that they carry. You walk into their warehouse, brightly lit, lots of choices, over each group of slabs hangs the name of each stone that coordinates with the price sheet. I gave my own drawing of my kitchen counter top (which was within a sq foot of what the Factory Plaza total measurement ended up being), right away the sales lady put my dimensions into her computer and gave me a quote based on the color that I chose (black galaxy). The invoice was calculated simply by multiplying total sq ft times price per sq ft, plus $150 labor. No up front non refundable measuring fee, no nickle and diming over each hole drilled, each radius cut or kitchen sink installation, as that other place does. Factory Plaza handedly outcompeted that other major supplier by $800, which was completely unprofessional and incompetent (the other supplier actually cut and delivered the wrong bathroom granite vanity top for my bathroom, then made me wait a over a month to get the correct one) and after their quote for my kitchen counter majically rose $500 (of course this didnt happen until after their measurer came out to measure and I lost my $250 non refundable measure fee (sales lady said they had to raise the price cause they ran out of stock and had to place a special order (of a very popular color, which they would have ordered more of anyways)) - of course they never told me this prior to me losing my $250 - I cancelled my kitchen granite order at that other place. The installers for Factory Plaza were efficient, clean and did a great job. My experience with Factory Plaza was as it should be, very efficient and professional. I now love my kitchen!!!! Looks beautiful!!!! My one giant regret is that I didnt go to Factory Plaza first.

I have had a tremendously good experience with Factory Plaza, from start to finish. First, my son is in the construction field and had purchased granite from this buisness for his home. He highly recommended Factory Plaza to me on the basis of price and quality of materials. I went to Bensenville and met with Margaret, one of their project managers. She was very patient and gracious, showing me all of their vast supply of granite slabs, and giving me a price sheet to carry around so that I could identify the price of each type of granite per square foot. This was so helpful with regard to staying within my budget! We then sat down together, and she gave me an excellent quote. I have priced out other businesses, and there were hidden costs and unidentified fees; this was not at all the case with Factory Plaza. The quote was very fair, and all inclusive. Several days later, Paul came to measure my kitchen counters. He did such a thorough job, and drew a template of the sink area so that the granite would be cut precisely. I was impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. Margaret responded to every one of my calls promptly, and had an exhaustive knowlege of every aspect of the job. It was a pleasure working with her. Today my granite has been installed. Two gentlemen, Greg and Jerry, handled this incredibly heavy material as though it were lightweight! They were polite and so expert with the installation. Its absolutely flawless. They worked nonstop and paid close attention to detail, to protecting the areas in my kitchen, to cleaning up every bit of debris created by the work. They made it a pleasure for me. I would unhesitatingly recommend Factory Plaza for anyone who wants granite countertops. The grainite is exquisite, and will no doubt add value to my home. The price they gave was less than quotes I had for Corian or quartz. Why would I have selected those materials when I could have the very best?

I very much regret my decision to continue with my granite order after Gosia was let go from Factory Plaza this month. I had experienced unpolished granite edges around sink area as well as chipped edge on each side of main piece after installation. The installer was sent back to the house but told me there was not much he could do to fix the problem - granite was already installed. He offered to put wax over it to add shine and left the house. I called Magda, my NEW point of contact. Sadly, she could not answer any of my questions on her own and kept on asking me to hold while she asked around to get answers. I became irritated when for the 3rd time in a row she came back with an answer not related to my question. Obviously, due to lack of experience, she was not able to even repeat my questions correctly. Once she was back on the phone with me, she kept on repeating: "I was told...", "they told me..." Next I asked for a manager, Peter started answering my questions but could not answer a simple question: what is my warranty in case of any stains in patches where granite is not polished and feels rough? I asked for a different manager and was told that Peter works in sales. Just imagine my aggravation at this point. I asked to speak to owner of the company next. Sebastian that was put on the phone told me that the owner will not speak with me. "He hires people to deal with clients". I was also told that whoever signed for the installation should have check the work before signing and handing out the final payment. Poor, just terrible customer service! I am going have to pay someone else to fix Factory Plazas negligence. Therefore, I have no intention to ever use them again or refer their services to my friends nor family.

We went all over looking for good looking affordable granite. We tried the big box stores where low grade selections were $80+ a square foot and tried smaller local retailers that wanted $100/ sq ft and up for the styles we wanted. When we found Factory Plaza we were honestly amazed. We found exactly what we were looking for for under half the price per square foot, and that included installation! The people at the warehouse were great. They walked us through the process, moved 4 slabs so we could pick the two we liked most. We wanted to get the larger crystal pattern for our center kitchen island and we found a slab with an incredible one in a perfect spot. The measurement person came out really fast when our cabinets went in and got everything measured quickly. We then were able to come back in and help tape off the exact parts of the slabs we wanted for each location! Delivery was also very quick. The two gentlemen that delivered and installed everything were very polite and respectful. We had just gotten all new appliances and we were worried about scratching. They didnt hit anything even though there were many very tight spots. They had to plane down one area of wall behind the cabinets as well and make a tight fit, which they did very quickly. Overall we couldnt be happier. The results were amazing, and the prices was between a half and a third of what we were being quoted elsewhere for the same exact stone.
