Wont return to this studio. I should have stuck with my initial feeling about this studio and not wasted our money/time. The studio has the most bizarre parking lot rules & buckets for a leaky roof in the studios. Communication between studio and parents is never consistent and often disjointed when it does get sent out. Our daughter was in the jr company and in that time never received corrections for her knee-toe allignments or posture. Her knees are now popping and making noises as she does a grande plie. She was under the assumption that she was doing everything correct, as Eka never corrected her. Was told by another mother that Eka only corrects the students that are her "favorites" and ignores the rest of the class. We are used to communicating with our daughters instructor and Eka does not look parents in the eye and walks past them with her head down in the hallways. I have yet to have Eka acknowledge my presence. If you watch one of their performance you should truly check out the poor form of the pointe girls and you will see why they need proper corrections in class. I also dont understand the concept of having the main roll being played by an instructor. Arent shows supposed to showcase the talent of the studio?

My daughter started at Twin Cities after we moved here in 2003. The school has been through many changes which I find to be refreshing. The Board and teachers are constantly reaching for higher ground and a sound way of going for the gold. I have read the other 2 reviews and cannot understand how someone can judge a school for a leaking roof when it is a leased building. My daughter has been dancing since 2003 and loves her teachers and their various techniques. Each one unique and something special of their own to share. The quality of final productions seem to get better and better each year. This school is constantly posting things in the building, on line,(via website and e mails) and in their company girls mailbox. If someone doesnt get the communication it is their OWN fault. I appreciate all the many hours put in by the hard working volunteers who run the school. Thumbs up and a 5 star review for us!!!

We just completed the first semester of beginning ballet and tap classes for our daughter. Also, she participated in the Nutcracker production which was very exciting!! This studio is very professional and has exceptional quality instruction. The teacher for our daughters class does a good job handling that age group and is very encouraging. Were looking forward to the Spring recital.
