The Shen and Lu family seem to have hit the nail on the head. I have been hearing stories like this occurring more and more at this funeral home. Unfortunately, the only people posting negative reviews are Chinese families, which makes you wonder if they have something against Chinese people. My brother recently went to make funeral arrangements with his wife whose father died, and she said the man they delt with was unfriendly, not compassionate at all, and only wanted to discuss money. I get it, things cost money, and nothing is free, but when the man making funeral arrangements keeps mentioning up charges and never once says sorry for your loss or anything of that nature, it makes you wonder if this is the kind of place you want to go to when your loved one dies. Perhaps some kind of course in compassion and respect should be offered for those who want to get into this line of work.

Very insensitive and unprofessional. The place opens at 9am, but they refused to let anyone in until 9:30, forcing the entire funeral party to stand outside. Then, the office staff came outside and told us that we had too many people standing around outside. It was incredibly insenstive, the tone of voice used and the overall attitude. At 9:30, they only let us in when we paid an additional $500, a shakedown just like the pros.

Find the previous two reviews very disturbing, I have had my parents both buried through Dalcamos and never have I ever had an issue with service or pricing. As in most dissatisfied customers, there is always a misunderstanding on what you are receiving in services and what you think you deserve. Those are two very different points.

Never seen such greedy funeral home. When we merely have 25 ppl in the funeral they asked for extra 500 dollars because in the contract we said 20. And the service is aweful and people works here is impatient. Angry and sad.
