Well we had our Memorial Service for our beloved, Mother, Grandmother, Matriarch it was bittersweet. She lived a full vibrant life with a Phenomenal Legacy of Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granndchildren. It was a Grand exit for a Grand lady. However it was the support and care of Funeral Director that made this journey bearable. Having a woman Funeral Director was so comforting and soothing the care she extended from beginning to end was outstanding. Our family appreciates Ms Kathy and her team for helping make this journey an event we could be proud and deserving of our Loved one. We appreciate you Smith-Thomas Funeral Services you did an Awesome job.

First of all we were greated by a young lady in street clothes, no uniform I didnt know who was working for Johnsons or who came for the services. The drivers from Johnsons Funeral Home got lost on the way to the burial in Northbook and we ened up in RockFord!!!! And one of their cars ran out of gas!!!! Some things should never happen and this is one of them.

This funeral home buried my grandmother and father and both times Cathy was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. When things got rough on my end with my family she made sure I was alright and she called to make sure she was tending to my needs and wants. I felt like all of the burden was off of me when it came to the funeral arrangments.

In the month of February 2012 i prearranged my dads funeral due to his extreme illness. I decided to go with Johnson Funeral Home because of the report i received from associates. From picking up the body 04/03/12 thru out the whole percetion i was extremely pleased.Preparation, obituary,timing, & burial i rate highly! The Lewis Family.

With this terrible pain in my heart I must say my husband funeral was so together. The staff at Jonson Funeral home did a marvelous job. every one said it was so classy and beautiful..... my daughter, grandchildren and I would like to thank all of the staff for your great hospitality and support. Mr Johnson himself is very rude and unprofessional, my family and I had to take our loved one else where because we was not pleased with his services at all. I would not recommend their facility to anyone !
