I am proud to review Mr. Barber of Chicago in as a way to show appreciation for the great experience Peter provided at Mr. Barber of Chicago. He greeted me at the door with a firm handshake and treated me like I had been a customer for 20 years. The fact is I was only in town for a short visit and wanted a traditional barber shave. I followed the recommendations from others and took a shot with Mr. Barber of Chicago. I was so pleased I did. Peter took care of everything, including warm towel, cool towel, powers, neck hair trim, and shoulder message. I could go on and on with attention to detail the Peter showed. I will come to Mr. Barber every time I come to Chicago just to see Peter. And from the looks of things on the walls, many other celebrities do the same. Dont even think about it .... if you are a guy looking for a barber ... see Peter! Mr. Barber of Chicago! Hands down.

Best haircut in downtown Chicago. Cesar and Peter will take care of you, and its a great chance to treat yourself and indulge. Finished off with a straight razor finish and a shoulder massage. This is not the place to go for a "quick, cheap cut." This is a place to go if you want the old school barbershop experience. Ill be going back regularly.

GREAT!!! My son and i stopped in, spur of the moment, and Peter and his team jumped into action. A short time later, he (my son) looked confident and ready for his interview. Me? Peter is a terrific barber and a great fellow. Hell give you an outstanding haircut, as you want it, and an old-fashioned straight-razor shave if you want that. In addition, hes a terrific person who takes a personal interest in each of his clients. You couldnt find a better barber.

Took a weekend trip to Chicago and wanted to get a haircut. Thought Id try a walk-in on a Saturday morning and was taken right away. I enjoyed the cut and straight razor shave to clean up the back of my neck. Fantastic service and will come back again on my next Chicago trip.

I visited this place at 5:35pm and they said they were about to close. Clearly they dont need any new customers. I would never deny the service to a customer almost 30mins before closing. Poor service.
