The store location on this site is wrong. It is around 3200 Howard, not 2200. When I asked 4 salespersons(one a manager) for a paper folder, like for a diploma, two of them sent me to frames, pointing its over there, and one said we dont have that. When I found it myself(it was near the certificates used for printing diplomas, awards, etc., I showed it to the person who was most clueless, and she said that her diplomas didnt come in those. I also bought manila envelopes for 5.79. I then went to Target and found the same envelopes for 1.99. Im a teacher who buys alot of your items, but not at that location. The store was not busy, but there was a line at checkout with at least 10 people waiting for one checker. Just thought youd be interested. Im used to salespeople trying to help, sometimes overly friendly, but these people were clueless as well as surly! ICK!

The woman managing this store has no business being in any position of authority! Why do you ask? On not one but two trips to this store I have witness her yelling at the employees (fellow humans) and on the last occasion to a staff members comment that they were busy with a customer her reply was she did not care about the customer, the issue she had was more important. I was that customer! Well no longer! Not only is it unprofessional to yell, to do it in front of customers is beyond the limits. This beast of a woman has some nerve to abuse these employees, who probably get at or a bit above minimal wages, that she benefits with from bonus pay based on store sales. I will not hand over my money to pay this woman to behave in such a manner.

I was in this location this morning and everybody was nothing but great service. I was at the front desk and spoke to a lady named Senada. She asked me if I had it Office Max card and I declined due to the fact that I was in a rush to get my newly purchased poster boards home to place the pictures of my deceased family member for the wake. She was so helpful that she even gave me 2 garbage bags to cover the poster board so that way I would not get them ruined. I would definitely shop here again and come back to see this woman she was absolutely amazing and comforted me in her own way in this tough time.

I was sold a HP printer for $69.99, when I opened the box, a different brand was in the box, used printer, cracked on top, no instruction, the printer was cracked. Very upset Im returning it Monday morning first thing. So Im here at the store, the manager is telling she has to call corporate about this, so she said what do I want to do. I said I want the.printer I paid for. The manager expected me to leave the store without a printer LOL Are you kidding me? After raising my voice and speaking to corporate, which turned out to be fruitless, the store decided to give a replacement.

This place is definitely a hit or miss. I come here to use the printing services at least once a month. Sometimes it super efficient and Im out in 20 min...other times Ive been here for 2 hours waiting for them to change the toner or format it properly. Only come here to print if you have the time to spare. Overall the staff seems unethusiatic about helping customers (not surprised when it comes to a corporation) but eventually everything gets done.

Theyre happy to sell you whatever they have in the store, but know what youre looking for. Their staff service is pretty poor. Certainly forget trying to get any kind of help or questions answered over the phone. Theyll put people on hold and eventually hang up on them. It seems they cant be bothered unless youre actually in the store to buy something.

Excellent customer service from Dustin. I was able to email something I needed printed out for my mom who lives right by that location.. He responded right away and the job was printed in 10 minutes. He was very friendly and helpful and it saved me a trip of having to drive 20 minute to drop something off for my mom. Such a convenience

The store manager is completely clueless about how to manage the store. And some times very unprofessional in responding back. I was there to buy a chair and they couldnt decide if they can sell me the chair on the price said on their website. I think the officemax brand is v good but their store managers are completely untrained.

Meh. I agree with others. Service is poor/ clueless. Store is a little dirty and run down as well. The address is not incorrect as someone mentioned. It is an Evanston address, not a Chicago address, so the numbering system is not the same. That is the reason it seems wrong to us Chicagoans, but it is in fact, correct.

sept 2015 These guys at this store are FANTASTIC! They are sooo nice and have my stuff printed and ready for me all the time. I think its terrible that a couple of bad experiences should still be online following the company. I understand people need to speak their peace but come on, years change. They are great!

I have been spending lot of money on scanning documents specially during the last month. Scanning department staff was great until today met Nick who helped me to scan few documents. Nick has the Worst Customer Service. Will never visit here again.

Nice and quiet inside, everyone was nice and friendly. Talked to this one employee about old VHS players, tapes, Hi8 cameras and mono/stereo sound. Ended up leaving with a 128gb USB for a steal, 30 bucks. A lot of good deals.

I have been in several times to get stuff done at the Impress station and there is this employee Troy who is always overworked and the area is always understaffed, and he works SO hard and deserves kudos.
