1 star I brought in 2 new style keys for my Harley Davidson including one of the originals. After waiting for some time in an empty showroom with, at tops, one customer. I was finally recognized & waited on. (#1) Mistake. You ALWAYS acknowledge all customers as soon as they walk in, and let them know you will be right with them as soon as possible.) Your customer IS the heart of your busines. Dont forget that. I asked if they where capable of cutting these 2 new style keys that I purchased off eBay. These key differ from the stock keys because the barrel is removable so they fit in the matchine, as the heads are much larger than stock. The young man took all the keys and began the process of duplicating them while I spent the next 15-20 minutes looking at what little they had in their showroom. Which wasnt much and not very impressive. (You need to show more of what your business does and the results of those services.) After he had finished, he began explaining that he had a hard time securing & indexing the new style keys. So I paid for his service and went outside to test them on my beloved hog. and as my luck goes, it did not work! Come to find out, This professional lock smith, did not have the proper machine needed to cut this type of key! (Your a fricking lock smith!) These keys ARE NOT CHEAP! Plus add the labor to cut them & you can see why I am beginning to get upset. The employee took the keys & once again attempted to fineness the keys into working properly. After a second test we found they STILL did not work. So back inside we went to discuss what our options where. This is where he pulled up a small 11"x8" sign that stated that they where not responsible for miss-cut keys! I was all over the showroom and DID NOT EVER SEE THIS SIGN, Nor was I EVER verbally informed of this policy before they screwed up my new keys. After complaining to him, and letting him know that this was bullshit, he offered to order 2 stock keys for my Harley & cut them for free. I accepted his offer and gave him my name & cell phone number and awaited his call. Well that was over 6 months ago. No attempt to call in order to rectify their shoddy service & workmanship. Bottom line: I would suggest that EVERYONE stay FAR AWAY from this place until they begin to show at least some professionalism. 1) Let customers know ahead of time of any policy(s) that may pertain to the service and/or product(s) you are performing and/or selling. And YOU as the CUSTOMER must ASK QUESTIONS, BEFORE HANVING ANY services and/ or ANY purchases made. 2) When you tell a customer something, by God, make damn sure you carry it out and/or at least contact them to keep them informed if there is ANY delay and/or change in the agreement. This is the professional way to do business. 3) If you have Terms Of Service and/or Rules, POST THE DAMN THING WHERE THEY CAN BE EASILY SEEN! Because pulling it from behind the counter, AFTER you screw up, isnt legal or professional. And VERBALLY inform the customer as well! 4) NEVER and I mean NEVER, jack with a mans Harley! EVER!!!! In ANY shape or form. Just sitting on another mans Harley could land you in the ER. I have spent the majority of my life in the automotive industry as a mechanic, Service adviser, Parts counterman & Parts manager... I am very knowledgeable on the laws and how to keep customers informed & happy, which sometime means eating your mistakes, by NOT charging the customer & replacing the damaged part(s) then making damn sure its done right. I am also skilled & have some of the proper tools to pick locks (comes in handy when people lock their keys in their cars). These are pretty basic practices that most successful business do consistently on a per customer basis. If you own this business & are in need of a competent manager, please feel free to contact me. 618&550&9810

I call this company this morning to see about them doing work here at my home. While the rep was nice enough, the quote was waaaaaay above pricing from other smiths. The basically wanted $125.00 to show and look. Im less that 1 mile away and called a company in Belleville. He quoted less money to come and install parts needed for the repair. Receptionist ask if I was commercial or Residential.. I told her Residential but i dont get why I need to pay 125.00 rate for a home. I also called them last year for a quote and that time the show up few was $95.00. The person that I ended up picking charge way less to show up and when i mentioned the price from Metro he said that was a commercial rate not a residential. Just my opinion of Metro but they look to be gouging prices. I wont ever recommend then to anyone...

The expert was able to unlock an old skeleton lock door that leads to my front porch on our 100+ year-old house and give me a key as well. The price was reasonable for the amount of time he spent on it and coming out--$125 and I was happy the lock didnt have to be cut out and replaced. The man was nice and on time for the appointment as well. I will go in at a later date to get a copy of the key which he said runs about $8 for that type of skeleton key. Overall I thought the service was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is a great place. I have used them for our business security system for a few years and they make keys for work and my home. They do a great job. I have never had any issues with any of the keys that they have made. They are always prompt with any service needs I have. A great benefit to this company is that they are professional and pleasant to work with. I have tried several places in the area and have had problems, until I found them. I highly recommend them if you want high skill and great service.

Fast and good service. I called today to get the locks on all doors changed at my house. They said a locksmith will be at the property in 15 minutes. I got there 20 minutes, and the locksmith was already there waiting for me. He changed 8 locks and got the job done in 50 minutes... 10 minutes under the 1 hour he had given. The cost was $225 (8 locks and 2 sets of keys). Fast and reliable service.

I called to obtain some information on types of locks and keys they would recommend to replace existing hardware on 13 compartment doors for my motorhome. They sounded like I was bothering them. This individual could not provide options only tell me one key that they used. I got the feeling that they did not need my business.

This place sucks! Dont waste your time or money. Went in to have keys made and no one acknowledge my presence, as if I was invisible. After about 5-7 minutes of waiting and the only customer in sight, I left. There were at least two people in the back rooms who knew of my presence the whole time there.

Im only giving a one because there is nothing less. The woman on the phone was nice enough and the technician was nice, but when youre standing out in the heat and they say one hour and it turns out to be 3+ hours for a 30 second jod, the customer does not walk away happy.
