This happened a few months ago. I have been a shopper there for several years, and while I dont go in all the time, I do spend money when I go in. I also have a rewards card. I was very interested in learning about mineral foundation, and also about getting my brows groomed. Now I am not young, nor was I really dressed up that day, but as I stated, I had product questions, I was ready to purchase. No one came up to me and asked if I needed assistance. The store was not particularly busy and I noticed a group of young, attractive female employees chatting among themselves. As I walked over to them, I noticed a couple of sideways glances, and not one acknowledged my presence. They did however have time for another young lady, one who was obviously closer to their age and well-groomed. So it appears that for the first time in my life I was the object of ageism. Didnt feel good. When I was their age I worked in downtown Chicago at Marshall Field & Co. As snobbish as they were often accused of being, I could never have gotten away with treating a potential client that way. Lets face it, Hodgkins is not a high-class town, so I dont know where these ladies got the idea that they were superior to an "old lady" like me. I might have expected shoddy treatment like that in Oakbrook or River Forest--but Hodgkins? Anyway, it left a bad taste. Maybe Sephora would be better.

Can I just say worst experience of her life!! Nancy is racists!!! They messed up my sisters hair. And then she made an appointment to get it fixed, Nancy called her and said she can never come back to the store because they gave her her money back. She refused to take care of her because she is Latina. Really lady you work in Hodgkins!!!!. They dont make you feel welcome there. And we believe they purposely messed up her hair.

I needed a haircut and I told her I just needed to be cut from the sides and she said ok and than I said and little bit in the back, she said that she dont have time for a full hair cut... and that I told her ok do half than only one side and she even think about it little bit haha my hair its like literally one inch long. They call her Di. Also she looked stoned af.

Recently got my eye brows done. I wouldnt normally go here for financial reasons but Im so glad I did! She did an amazing job on my eyebrows they fit my face perfect. If you need to get them reshaped but dont normally come definitely come her!

Nice, clean, organized. Staff is friendly and easy to deal with. Salon services are convenient and easy to schedule. Still pricey retail store.
