Daniel, the owner and sales pitch man, cant be trusted. Earlier this year in Mid-Spring 2017 I got a quote from Daniel. The quote and pitch was excellent. He knows how to pitch a good sale, and my wife and I discussed, and chose Right Way to paint the exterior of our cedar house. He stated during the walkthrough/quote that he could fix a couple areas of the siding that had some rot issues, that he would scrape it all out, and fix with a patch..that after it is painted you wouldnt be able to recognize the spot at all. He stated he does this all the time, and that it looks near siding once done. He didnt put this on the contract, because the contract was already drawn up upon my meeting him in my driveway for the quote/walk around. We shook hands, and he stated his word is like gold. We agreed on terms and was happy going into it. HIs team showed up in the weeks after to do the job. In a very short couple days the entire project was completed. When I came home from work, I found multiple spots of concern that were simply missed. There was overspray in some areas, as well as chipped paint on the ground, all of which Daniel promised I wouldnt experience. After another couple short weeks passed, those areas where he patched started to "flex" and it created the paint to sever/chip away. It looks awful. I started texting and contacting Daniel at that time on the issue. He flips one way to another very quickly. His initial response was that he would return to fix it. His next response was that it wasnt in the quote (although agreed upon) and he couldnt do anything. Then reverting back to state he would return to fix it when he and his team had time. Literally a hundred or so texts later, the job isnt fixed. One attempt was done, when he sent one of his crew members over, who applied a portion of the fix and stated he would have to return the next day to complete it after it dried, but never returned. Needless to say, 2 seasons have literally passed, with no fix. Three spots on my siding look like junk still, and we are now heading into the cold season. I have filed a compliant with the BBB, have yet to hear on that end. Waiting to see if I have to get the job done myself, or if Daniel and his team will react to complete their fixes. I would understand in the beginning if he would have said "I cant fix that". I would have totally made the adjustments to get the items fixed myself or through another contractor, but he made me rest assured that he does these fixes all the time and there would be no issues. Many times over Daniel promised to be at the house to fix this, but those days (many times over) have come and gone. At this point I cant recommend Right Way Painters, as all they have done customer service wise is the Wrong Thing. I will say, these spots aside, in all fairness, the painting job itself looks good. Thats all I can say good, with my experience.

Dan and his crew just finished with the exterior of our home. We couldnt be happier with the outcome. As their name implies they do it right. Not only is Dan and his crew great at what they do, they are great guys who are easy to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done and finished as perfectly as possible. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. I will not hesitate to get Dan back out for any other project I may need done, or pass his name along to anyone else needing a painter. If any issues arise from the current job, which Im sure they wont, I know he would make it a priority to come back out and make it right.
