From start to finish, Dan is great to work with. He promptly responded to my request for a bid, and came to visit shortly after. Some of the things I most appreciated: - Dan and Ryan are a two man team - you know who you are getting. That means you know who is coming in and out of your home, you know that you will receive their work, and you know you can expect consistency. - Not only do they show up on time, they show up early. Every. Single. Time. - They are incredibly conscientious of the state in which they leave your house. This means vacuuming, dusting, and everything else. I couldnt believe it when I walked into my kitchen after a day of sanding and not only was there no dust anywhere in my kitchen, but there were Dan and Ryan on their hands and knees scrubbing my floors to make sure my floors were in the exact state they found them in. -They work a full day. The first day, they arrived at 8:15am (for an 8:30 appointment). They took a 25 minute lunch break, and then worked straight through 5pm. Its sad that this is so unusual, but it was notable and appreciated. Theyre incredibly reasonably priced, and you get an honest days work for that money. -They work hard. Not only are they putting in good time, but they are making good use of that time. Weve had experiences where contractors come and go, take cigarette breaks, and generally mismanage the time they are supposed to be working. Dan and Ryan get things done! They got our kitchen cabinets sanded, primed, painted with two coats, and put back together in a matter of 5 days. Wow! - They take pride in the quality of their work. Our cabinets turned out amazing. Like anything with paint, you see certain areas that need a little extra love once everything is up and in the light. Dan broke out the paint and immediately started addressing any areas that needed touching up. They even offered to come back and follow up if we saw anything additional down the line. - Theyre nice guys. If you are going to invite people into your home, what a bonus for them to be good people who you trust and are happy to give business to. We will definitely be using their services again in the future.

My project was the repainting of my home and refinishing of the wood deck. D and Ks attention to detail is awesome......beginning with the initial proposal which outlined the exact scope of work and how it was to be implemented. The crew worked hard and efficiently as a team and were incredibly neat . At the end of each day all equipment was picked up and gone as if they hadnt even been there. When the job was finished one last inspection was made to make sure nothing was overlooked. This was my second experience with D and K. Dan painted bookcases and the mantel in my family room earlier this year. Thank you D and K for exceptional experience. You rock!! You definitely have my recommendation. We hired D&K painting based on some of the reviews we read. They definitely lived up to expectations. I was able to get in touch with them right away and schedule an appointment to get an estimate the next day. They show up on time or a little early and they are very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They were able to schedule my job early the next week. We had them paint our 2 story foyer, upstairs hallway, master bath, and walk-in closet. The work they did looked very professional, and they got it done in 1 day! When it came time for the bill, I found it very reasonable, and less than I had expected. I would definitely recommend D&K Painting.

This was the first time Ive used D&Ks services, and now I know I will use them for all of my future painting needs. I needed the exterior trim of my house painted, as well as some other areas, and Dan was more than accommodating. I found his rates to be very competitive, which really helped us out. Overall, Dan is really friendly and cares for his work. In fact, I made a mistake with a certain color, and Dan fixed the issue without raising the price, even though I expected him too. Again, they will definitely receive a call from me in the future when I need more help with painting.

Dan and Ryan painted my kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, den, master bedroom, and master bath. D & K came highly recommended by a family friend, so the decision to hire them was easy. They showed up ready to work on time and were courteous and friendly. Had an interior painting project on an old home with stucco walls and lots of little finishes on doors and trim that required a bit of TLC. D and K came with a competitive price for the job compared to other painters, so we scheduled the job with them. They showed up promptly on their scheduled days, and completed the job ahead of schedule, and were always willing to answer questions along the way when we had concerns. Not only is the work beautifully done, but it is completed when promised, the job site is cleaned every evening and the price is fair and reasonable. D&K was superior both in workmanship and customer service throughout our entire renovation project. They are amazing painters, as evidenced by expertly covering up 30+ years of smoke smell and stain for our project, but they also can be your one-stop shop for an entire renovation. They will pull in other quality experts, as needed, and manage it all for you. We already have other projects on the list for them. We cant recommend them highly enough!

This was a challenging job. A lift was needed to reach the eaves of this 120 year old victorian landmark. Dan and his crew were fantastic. The job was done on time, on budget and excellent workmanship. My highest recommendation. I have renovated seven houses and know when I find a true pro. And on top of it, they are courteous and very nice.
