Joe came out for a bid and seemed quite friendly and reasonable during the bid he made it sound like my concerns were no problem. Take down the curtains? No problem! Patch all the holes? Done! Remove the plant hooks? Sure! Paint and hang up the closet doors currently in the basement? Absolutely! I was excited he promised to do the job done quickly and within our tiny budget. The first day the painters arrived polite and on time. They got to work busily painting the second floor. My husband and I took turns checking in over the two days they painted. The first day problems started. After the painters left I did a walk through and noticed empty fast food containers left in closets. Heaps of empty sheet rock buckets (from another job) left in our driveway. Cans of semi-full cans of paint were sitting out totally opened. Painters had parked their trucks on our lawn (our street has no curb) leaving huge tire marks and killing our grass. I didnt say anything. I figured they would clean up the next day. I figured the paint being open was an oversight. They never cleaned up. They always left paint open. They washed paint brushes in my bathroom sink rather than in the basement. Then I noticed that things that were verbally agreed on during the bid were not getting done. When I mentioned this to Joe he suddenly got amnesia about it and referred me to the terms of the contract. I complained to Joe bitterly and after spending the better part of two weeks hounding him and leaving countless messages he finally sent a painter out to spend the day doing touch ups. Only this painter (for reasons I still dont understand) left halfway through the touch ups. This led to another two weeks of even more persistent hounding since Joe was now ducking my calls. Finally, Joe came out and half heartily did some of the work. He argued with me the entire time and still never finished the job. I should have never used TDS Quality Painting. I have filed a complaint with the BBB but their license is already revoked so I doubt they will respond or care. Im speaking to a lawyer about taking them to small claims court. This company should be out of business. Joe is a liar and he will rip you off. He sailed right past my $1,500.00 with an additional $500.00 for paint. Our final bill was $2,890.00 and $700.00 for paint. (Joe bought over too much paint. I had 14 cans of mostly full of paint leftover!) Joe claims he had to do multiple coats of paint throughout most of the house. Which increased the price. Yet when I walk around my home all I see are signs of a rushed and sloppy paint job. They never sanded the trim so the new paint is already chipping. There are dried paint drips on the walls. I had to buy goof off to clean all the spattered paint off my hardwood floors. Things that were suppose to be painted like my closet doors and ceilings clearly were not painted. Things that had been agreed upon during the initial bid were never done. I still have plant hooks. I still have curtain hardware. Throughout the entire ordeal Joe was rude and mean. He left voicemail messages cussing me out. He sent me rude emails. On phone calls he would make rude and insensitive statements. On more than one occasion the stress and vulgarity reduced me to pool of tears. If I complained about his bad customer service he would play dumb and claim he had no knowledge of being rude. Please dont make my mistake! No mater how small your budget you are better off with another painter. Heck, if you must, get some friends together and throw a paint party. Trust me you will be much happier with the results and save yourself a lot of stress.

We are new to the Milwaukee area and recently purchased a home here. There was much painting needed and we had no idea who to call or trust. We searched online for recommendations and reviews. We found multiple options and I met with several paint contractors that week. Luckily, one of them was Joe with TDS Quality Painting. He was the first to respond, the first onsite and the first to quote the job. His prices were so good we were skeptical about the quality of the work. But, I have to tell you... WOW! They really knocked it out of the park. The guys were super-professional and tidy. They cleaned up after themselves each day and were very polite. I work from home so I was here for the majority of the project. I never once had an issue with noise, access or messiness. There was a lot of older wood trim that needed a lot of paint and the guys at TDS Quality Painting took their time and really did a great job getting all coated properly. We were impressed because we tried our hand at painting some of it and know how difficult it was. We saved the kitchen cabinets for last, We had no idea how they would turn out but, once again, TDS hit a home run. They look phenomenal. I cant say enough good things about this company and its employees. Thanks TDS Quality Painting. We now have a friend in Milwaukee.

I hired TDS to paint the interior of half of my duplex in Wauwatosa. The quote was fair and they did the work very well. Joe was easy to work with, and his crew kept things clean and organized. I was nervous about getting paint on the carpet, but I didnt have to be. They also finished the job ahead of schedule. I will definitely hire them again when we need to paint the other half.
