Review from my mom, but I feel the same. MyChef is without a doubt a notch above everyone else. "We hired MyChef catering to do my daughter’s wedding that took place this past June. From the beginning I felt like I was a priority, and that Susan was going to ensure the event went off well. Susan along with MyChef Catering far exceeded our expectations. From the tasting, to picking the linens, to the final run-through before the big day, I was floored by how much time and energy was put into our event. My daughter and her husband wanted an outdoor wedding and but we wanted it to remain extremely elegant and personal. Susan captured that perfectly. The entire staff present the day of exceeded our expectations, and floored the guests with their manners and tact. Everyone we talk to comments that this wedding is the most beautiful one they have ever attended. Being a decorator myself, I had big dreams for my daughter’s wedding, but as it drew closer I knew I was going to need help with achieving those. Susan was just the help I needed to make throwing such a large event possible! Because it was an outdoor wedding, with 130 people, weather was a major stress factor leading up to the big day. We were constantly reassured by her and her team that they would make sure the event went off well. Though it rained all morning (with beautiful sun and mild temperatures for the ceremony and reception!), her team worked through it all. I felt less like I was working with a caterer, but more like I was working with family or a friend, someone that was deeply invested making our wedding dreams come true. I would recommend MyChef to anyone who needs a caterer for an event big or small, they are truly top notch."

Where do I begin our experience with My Chef from start to finish was amazing. Dominick and Kendall were always there to answer my questions, emails and made sure the experience was stress and worry free. Dominick was very kind and willing to work with us on creating a great food experience for our guests while staying in our budget. The tasting was amazing, the food at wedding was amazing and their desserts are a must have (I would recommend the cheesecake shots!!). My chef attention to detail the day of our wedding at Wilder Mansion on 6/8/14 just brought everything together from linens to the tea candles enhanced our wedding decor. They even brought appetizers out to us while we took pictures so bridal party did not miss out. We were happy to have Dominick there the day of the wedding he made sure everything went flawlessly. Our guests said they have never been to a wedding where the food was so AMAZING. Thank you everyone at My Chef for being there to make our wedding day complete and providing us with extraordinary service. I would recommend My Chef for any catering event you will not be disappointed.

My Chef Catering recently catered our recent wedding at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oakbrook, IL. From the very beginning of the process Amanda was extremely helpful and easy to work with. We were able to bring some of our own linens and desserts in without a hitch. The day of was simply amazing, Amanda coordinated everything beautifully and made on the spot decisions which were first class and seemless while being very amiable with guests and others. The staff was extremly professional and served the headtable with such class. The food was absolutely delicious with no complaints from any of or table or the guests. They were so kind and honest as to give my extened family extra orders of food that they brought and were not eaten. During the whole wedding process and day of, Amanda truly helped run the whole wedding reception and made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. Having planned our wedding in about 3 months, MyChef catering was the perfect choice and look forward to having them cater future events! Brides...Ask for Amanda as well, shell make you feel so comfortable with everything!

Had a "Ladies Night Out" event at my chiropractic office (Illinois Wellness Group), and called on My Chef to help with all aspects of transforming a small medical clinic into a venue in which we could entertain and spoil prospective and current clients. My Chef was phenomenal in helping to organize everything, from the color scheme and table linens, rental of equipment, and incredible food. At the last minute, my staff made changes to our order, and My Chef came through with flying colors, adapting to our request and even making a special trip to deliver additional supplies and more food as the event turned out to draw more than we had estimated. The additional charges were what we would expect with no addidtional surprise charges for the special delivery! I confidently recommend and refer friends and colleagues to "My Chef"!

My Chef was incredible, from the food to the service, everything was perfect. The food was awesome and they did an amazing job creating a menu that not only fit our taste but was also appealing to all of our guests. Many of our guests commented on both the wonderful food and the amazing service. My Chef handled everything from the chair rentals, to the food and bar service and beyond. In addition the excellent food, the service was awesome. Dominick and Jamie truly helped to make our evening amazing and he went above and beyond in ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. We were so impressed with both the food and the service that we used them for another event just two weeks after our wedding. We highly recommend My Chef. From the tasting to the very end of the event, they were just amazing!!

First and foremost, enough can not be said about our coordinator, Sue and her sincere desire to make our wedding as beautiful and memorable as possible. Her kindness and attention to detail were integral to creating he atmosphere that we envisioned. From the first time we met, she treated us like family, which was obvious in her final product. She was always available for calls or emails and always made us a priority. Overall Sue and her excellent staff created an environment that made our wedding absolutely perfect! Not to mention, the food was amazing in which the guests continue to remind us! We would highly recommend My Chef Catering to everyone and could not be more happier having them present at our wedding! My Chef Exceeded All of Our Expectations! I am not just the mother of the bride, but also a wedding coordinator, and I have worked with many caterers. Of all of them, the caterer I chose was My Chef. I had confidence in Dominick Scafidi at My Chef, that the presentation would be lovely, the food delicious, and the service impeccable. In all areas, My Chef exceeded our expectations. Many, many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was... both the chicken and vegan entrees were delectable. There is an endless list of compliments I can give My Chef Catering from the experience I had with my wedding! They are not just a catering company - their knowledge goes beyond the food and into your event. I never once felt overwhelmed because the staff at My Chef was there to guide me, from picking out the hors doeuvre and linens, to even reminding my husband and I to eat during the reception. You most definitely do not need that reminder because the food is so delicious that I could not get away from it! Without My Chef, I can honestly say our wedding would not have been as stress free.
