I expected a long wait, it was Saturday morning after all. Surprisingly our trio was seated immediately (1015 Saturday morning--score!). But when we left about an hour later, there were many groups waiting to be seated. The menu lists a lot of different options whether you want to go sweet or savory or both for breakfast/brunch. Pancakes, crepes, french toast, waffles, eggs, omelets, scrambles...lots to choose from. And they serve fresh juice and mimosas! I opted for the South Beach Scramble--eggs, bacon, spinach, avocado and monterrey jack cheese. I subbed the potatoes for fresh fruit and got the Greek toast. This was a very hearty serving and along with a bottomless cup of coffee, made for a very nice meal. My breakfast companions meals looked really good too. Service was nice...it was busy so not a lot of time for niceties, but our coffee mugs or water glasses never went empty and requests, like for hot sauce was met promptly. I like their Roselle location and Im just as satisfied with this location. Tip: Great place to stop and fortify yourself before a day of shopping at the Volo Antique Mall!

Brunch Cafe, McHenry is a great place for breakfast / lunch. I have brought my family here several times, and always enjoyed the friendly staff service. They always welcome you to their establishment with a warm greeting, and a smile. The service staff are very attentive. The owner / manager walks the restaurant, and greets his customers, making sure everything is going the way you want. They have a great menu, and have excellent value. You can come here by yourself, or with a group, and have a great meal at a very reasonable price. The Brunch Cafe is a little hard to locate. Its north of McDonalds, on the east side of route 31, to the right side of a small business building. You should be able to see their sign.

We stop to eat at the Brunch Cafe whenever we are in Mchenry. Menu items vary from the typical brunch fare with chocolate bacon pancakes, carrot cake pancakes, egg skillets with sweet potato tater-tots, and sandwiches with thick slices of ham and Gouda cheese on apple bread. We can never decide on one item and order extras just to try new things Oh! and the homemade soups are awesome too! Please note: The Brunch Cafe is usually crowded, so plan on waiting 20 minutes to get a table. However, the service is friendly and efficient, and food orders come out quickly. Dont miss it!

Great food, great staff. We went here for breakfast and our 3 year old started to get a little fussy and we had to leave shortly after our food arrived to go to immediate care (turned out he had an ear infection). Our waitress quickly grabbed to go containers and helped get all our food packaged up and even brought to go cups for our drinks too. She was super sweet and when we finally did get to eat our food several hours later it was still amazing after being reheated. Huge selection on the menu too. Everyone will find an option for sure.

Best food, best people, best service! Cant be beat! Ive been going here EVERY Wednesday for over three years - and its still amazing regarding the freshness, the portions, the prices and the staff. The food comes out so quick, youd think its truly fast food! The quality is so top notch, creative and tasty - its anything but fast food! We just enjoy it - and highly recommend it. Patrick is an engaging manager and Kelsey our waitress (sometimes Sarah, or Tessa) is outstanding!

Food is OK, nothing spectacular. It was a good option, considering Wildberrys and Egg Harbor Cafe were packed to the brim. I recommend the red velvet french toast and the benedicts. The skillets were rather bland; the tomatoes tasted as if they were just thawed and their idea of chorizo involves some sort of spiceless ground meat.

We are from St. louis, Mo in town visiting for the weekend. We came to this restaurant and i was amazed at how good the food was. Our server was amazing. My friend wanted pigs in a blanket and even though not on the menu they made it for him. We will be back here next time we visit. Kristina Hutson

We stopped in here on a Saturday morning for breakfast, it was busy but we were seated immediately. Food came out quick, took about 10 minutes or less. I had a skillet which was amazing, it had pulled pork in it. I highly recommend this place, it has become our favorite breakfast spot.

THE best banana bread French toast evah! Waitress was polite, checked on us a couple times. Place looked packed from the parking lot, surprised on how big it was inside. Food was amazing to say the least. Easy 5 stars. Came from Indiana, and will probably come back! Thank you!!

Oh my gosh. Every time I come here, I dont even care what the wait is because the food is so fresh and delicious! The Sweet Potato skillet and the Bistro Chicken sandwich are easily two of my favorite things. I also love the Irish skillet.

Terrific breakfast/lunch spot. So far everything I have tried has been very good. Their variations of eggs benedict and their crepes are my favorites. I order my hollandaise on the side for crepes. Keeps the crepes from getting soggy.

Everything Ive had (and the people Ive taken here have had) here has been wonderful. It can get crowded (especially on the weekend). Dont limit yourself to the menu - they usually have very good and very creative specials.

Good food. Fast, friendly service. They have something for the health conscious, something for the traditionalists, and something for those who like to indulge. Weekends prepare for a wait unless you get there early.
