After I initially applied for a job, I was contacted within 3 days. 2 days later I drove to their Oak Brook location for an interview and started paperwork for a Picking and Packing position. I was set up with a staffing agent ( very friendly and seemed to be transparent as far as status updates go) that guided me through their process with ease. He assured me that I would be contacted within a few days to schedule a drug test to start finalizing the rest of necessary documents. After a week and half of no responses to phone calls/emails, I was finally contacted with progress on the position. He apologized for "the disconnect" and relayed the rest of the information needed to finalize my employment. After completing the Aerotek paper work, I-9 forms, W2 forms, Drug/Background tests, all I needed to do was wait for my start date. I was assured that my start date would be the week of February 15th-19th. It is currently Thursday the 18th and I still do not have a start date! Having given advanced notice to my current job, I am growing very fearful of being unemployed. I reached out to my staffing agent about an update but when he messaged back, I received an unexpected response . Not only is he out of town ( Which Im not upset over. People have lives and business to take care of ) but no one was tasked with keeping me updated on my start date. Where the fault lies either on his end or his office, I have no idea. The fact still remains my last day at my current job is February 23rd and I have no idea when I start my new job. Lack of communication is the main problem I faced working with Aerotek.

Wow, I really expected to be the only one writing a bad review. Thats all the reviews on here are. I wish I would have read this first before wasting my time going there. Received a call from Lauren, She had a position for 1st shift, with in my pay rate and the company needed someone imediately. I was happy to email her my resume again along with the references she asked for. Not only was she not in the office for my interview, Dan Brito comes unprepaired and with a bit of an attitude. Im ex Army with 20+ Years experience in Shipping, Recieving, and Warehousing that alone honors me a bit of respect. Long story short just wanted me to come in to talk. I was there to start work not talk, that could have been done on the phone. Dont waste your time if you have anyother choices.

If you are looking for work and require a professional relationship with a staffing firm then please look elsewhere. As a "seasoned employee" seeking an opportunity for an encore career my association with Aerotek was mandatory. My former employer contracted with Aerotek seeking to expand its pool of talent. Once you are placed, should you need any additional support do not expect your phone calls or emails to be responded to in a timely manner; and if they are, you may expect both a cavalier and small minded response. Should you be contacted by a recruiter from this company dont walk,RUN!!!

Avoid this temp agency at all cost. Ive had ao many different receuiters here that i cant keep track of who Im suppose to contact. No one ever seems to fully undeestand what they are suppose to be doing. The simplest of things, like lets say updating info, takes them way too long. You cant ever get a hold of anyone here either. If you dont drive out to their location, well good luck having someone call you back. When I first applied i was waiting for a month before they finally sent me to work. What am i suppose to pay my bills with!

My Wife spoke highly of Aerotek until she was sent to Catamaran for an assignment which made her feel like she was in class with children during training. She received all these notes, tested daily and a work schedule, she would never agree with. I told her for all you are learning are you even being paid for what they are asking of you! Her answer was HELL NO AND I AM NOT DOING IT. #noreferrals

Very unprofessional office. Josh would answer your call maybe once a week at most. Got laid off for 2 months. Had a drug test for a job and passed the test. Never even got a call about the job. Worked at another company for 4 days and again was let go. I have yet to hear their side of story as of what happened after 3 weeks. Finally went with another temp agency and found work right away.

Worst agency I have work with Went for a drug test. Took the test 2 days later I get a call from this teddy guy saying that I came out positive. When I dont even do drugs.. called the clinic they said i never took a drug test.. called teddy asked him why he said i came out positive.. He said he didnt know why he said it.. Dont go to aerotek find something else

Terrible. Ive literally spent 6 hours trying to get a hold of one person. Left a voicemail and even called back and yet to even speak to her about a job I would like to start asap. Their communication and professionalism is the worst Ive ever seen. You would figure after multiple poor reviews and a 2 star company youd think theyd make some changes.

I have had nothing but success with the Oak Brook Aerotek. My recruiter is Jeff Becker and he is an incredibly nice person. He always takes my calls and he is very helpful when I need questions asked. He was able to place me at a company that couldnt have been a better fit. I know that he has my best interests at heart and I appreciate that.

Your usual temp agency, where follow ups are a fairy tale. Dont waste your time here. I came here about 5 years ago, after my assignment ended, that was the only thing I heard from them, I left voicemail and sent emails but nope, none was replied. I just tried again with them a couple of weeks ago but they havent changed.

Like someone else said, if you get a call from Aerotek, RUN AWAY! Ive been through 12 agents in my year there. And those are only the ones ive been made aware of. Nobody calls me, I had to call them any time any thing happened. I was left in the dark for every change. Bad company, and theyll shaft you at every turn.

Extremely unprofessional and a waste of your time. These recruiters dont even have the decency to let you know if you did not get a position, that you took time out to interview for! Kaitlin Morkel and David Jager...dont let them get your hopes up...they dont really care

wow! I really could not believe how much of a waste of time this was, I really have to thank Kate for never picking up her phone or calling to tell me if I ever got a position with the company she sent my resume to... this was a really big let down.

In the beginning they were very helpful. Yet, once they place you in any job they dont care how you do. Your off their hands. Ive been with them for 4 months now and this will be the last because every time I call them they never answer.
