I interviewed for a job here where I was given a written test, and sat in a folding chair in the middle of the store to take the "exam". An exam that includes algebra, fractions and square roots for Christs sake! Somehow I failed this exam, but the State of Illinois has recommended me through an aptitude test for grant money because I scored "Superior Intelligence" at a Masters/Doctorate level. Family Video seemed like a decent job to take while finishing my degree, they have missed out on a smart and enthusiastic employee, one who was willing to work every weekend. So whos the dummy?

Very poor interview process. I have been in upper management for 15 years and have hired many employes. The process was in the middle of the store with all kinds of people around and interview questions were lame to say the least. Dont think I would want to work in a place that has such low quality processes.

Even though brick and mortar movie rental stores have almost become obsolete they do a great job competing in the age of instant movie streaming. Great deals and freebies are a constant. They also keep an up to date video game selection.
