My wife and I were interested in enrolling our two children (boy and girl) into a martial arts program. We looked at several schools in multiple disciplines and Victory Martial Art Orland Park Academy immediately stood out from the others. From our initial conversation with Sensei Adam to the first class, we were certain it would be a great fit for both our children - and it was and continues to be. The level of instruction is excellent and very well-rounded - as a true mixed martial arts program should be. In addition, each class ends with a "mat chat" led by the Sensei that focuses on a variety of equally important fundamentals such as honor, respect, discipline and sportsmanship - just to name a few. Sensei Adam has taught our children not only to train like champions, but also to act like one both inside and outside of the dojo. During our conversation, Sensi Adam also told us about the adult program. I decided to try it out and was equally as impressed. The students in the adult class were very welcoming and helpful from the first day I started and the training is excellent. It has also allowed me to be able to practice at home with my children. No matter what your goals are the classes will complement them. If you aspire to compete...this is the program for you. If you want to get into shape...this is the program for you. Victory Martial Art Orland Park Academy has a very unique training regimen that combines top tier instruction with character building in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that extends well beyond the dojo. We are very fortunate to have found this school - not only for my children but for myself as well - and would definitely encourage anyone considering a martial arts program to check it out.

When I first signed up for classes at Victory Martial Arts I was incredibly nervous; I didnt know anyone, was out of shape, and had no experience in any activity like this. The worrying was for nothing though- everyone at the gym was incredibly helpful and friendly. There was absolutely no pressure to jump into anything I wasnt ready for yet and I loved that I was able to go at my own pace until I could keep up with the tempo of the class. Joining Victory was the best decision Ive made in a long time. Not only am I back in shape and losing weight, but Im learning lifelong skills. I have more confidence and feel much safer now that I have a better understanding of mma and self-defense. Its a great feeling to know that you can defend yourself if you ever have to. The best part of VMAA are the people. Everyone is super approachable and willing to help you out if you need it; I learn almost as much from my classmates as I do the instructors! Not to say that the instructors arent extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but its rare to find such a large group of people so willing and excited to help you further your skills. The instructors themselves are patient, enthusiastic, humble, and deeply invested in their students. They are always willing to go out of their way to help you out and give a tremendous amount of individual attention to each and every person in their class. If youre interested in getting in shape, learning self-defense, or becoming more knowledgeable in mixed martial arts, Victory Martial Arts is the place to go.

We are so glad our family has found Victory Martial Arts. The instructors are welcoming and positive. Sensi Adam is absolutely wonderful with the children. He is very positive and motivating and my son truly enjoys going to class. Our son had studied a different form of marital arts prior to this and he was looking to try something new. After looking into several schools I finally located a business card I had gotten from Sensi Adam after he had spoken to the students at my school. I had told my husband about Adam’s instant connection with the students and his positive attitude. Upon visiting Victory for the first time we knew it was a great place. Adam made all of us feel welcome in the dojo and was very informative. During his first class my son was welcomed by the other students and was able to work at his own pace; He had no wrestling experience prior to this. Our son (and us) love the skills that are taught and he has learned a lot in just a few months. Adam plans a curriculum each month for the classes so the students are presented with new skills along with reviewing previous skills. We highly recommend Victory Martial arts!

As a new and inexperienced student I walked into the Dojo nervous about if I would be able to fit in and if I could adapt to the intense training that comes with the sport of martial arts. 5 months later I can say that all of my fears were for nothing as I was welcomed by not only kind and patient teachers but also fellow students that have helped me countless times learning new moves and techniques. The complicated and complex moves that I have learned were made simple and easy to understand by the staff, it did not matter if it was Sensei Adam, Jason, or Matt that was teaching, I have always known that no matter how hard the move or combo is they could explain it to me in such a way that I could grasp and perform the actions by myself. If there is any desire in you to learn how to fight then I would recommend joining the Victory Martial Arts family alongside me and tens of other students.

Ive been going to Victory Martial Arts for several years now, and am much better for it. The instruction is top notch and whether your goals include to fight competitively, or just to get into shape, you will get the attention and support you need to reach your goals. The atmosphere in the gym is nothing but first class. The gym prides itself on the character of its students. Whether trying to make it through a workout or doing full-contact sparring with the competition team, Victory is only interested in students who will push teamates in a positive way. Classes include boxing and Muay Thai, wrestling and Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as classes for children. The gym has become a second home for not only myself, but for my family as well, and I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend Victory Martial Arts to anyone interested in what it has to offer.

From Kids classes to Adult classes I have been training here since the the beginning of middle school and have loved the experience I have had at Victory. I started with the kids classes and Adam does a terrific job helping the children both have fun and learn martial arts. If you want your child to either begin a sport or learn how to defend themselves, Victory is definitely a great place to try. For the adult classes you make friends easily. The instructors are Matt and Jason and both are very knowledgeable and help everyone have a great time. With a 2 WEEK FREE TRIAL to tryout out and see if martial arts is your thing, why not give it a try. Adult Classes are Monday-Thursday 7pm-9pm Kids Classes are Thursday and Saturday times vary on the age of the child.
