I have never had a bad experience with this establishment. The men who own the place are truly the last of a dying breed as they still hold the essence of a true barber shop. I have been in the military for over 7 years and have had my hair messed up by numerous beauticians and corporate owned establishments all over the world. For the past 5 years I have always made it a point to find Crosstown Barber Shop. I would recommend them to anyone. Michael Crone

My first cut at Crosstown. Awesome cut! I live in Terre Haute but am from the B Town area. Could not find a barber in Terre Haute that could give my buzz the look without looking like I had the mange. Besides a great cut, it is sooooo good to talk everything IU (Yes, I graduated from IU). After the great cut just fall around the corner for a cold Ruby Bloom Amber at Lennies! Does it get any better!!!!! Gary W. Brown

After multiple visits I have never had a bad experience. These guys are true American barbers. They have the skill of someone who has been doing this for a long time and it shows in their work. Go in knowing what you want and communicate that clearly to those guys and you cant go wrong. Best part, they dont do appointments which means you can go whenever its convenient. 10/10 would recommend

I read the reviews and went in with great optimism. Probably got one of the worst haircuts ever. My hair on the sides were in unequal lengths and the sideburns were lopsided too! The shaver scraped off my skin when he cut nearer to the neck. The guys there are curtious which is great but hospitality is not the only criteria to a haircut.

Great old school barbershop. Very friendly barbers. Only concern would be for anyone who is looking to get a well groomed, very precise look. The barbers are a little old school and did a little bit of a butchering job on my hair when I went in. If you are just looking for something simple though this would be a good place.

I went after seeing all the reviews and I wasnt disappointed. The men there were both friendly when I entered. The barber was very talkative and didnt allow uncomfortable silences. The barber didnt cut off more than I asked and made sure I was happy with the result. I recommend this place and would go back again.

Great place, Im a black male with an afro with faded sides so naturally Im worried when going to a new barber especially in a "whiter" part of town but the man with the long majestic beard whos name I unfortunately did not get was very nice, talkative, and give me a great shape up. Highly recommended.

There is no substitute for the experience and attention to detail these guys have. I have gone to a lot of salons and barber shops around bloomington, and had my usual buzz cut messed up at every one. Very good work at a very affordable price. Highly recommend.

This is my kids favorite place to go Frank takes extra time with us we love it there my son even talks about Frank to his teacher almost on a daily basis!! Wonderful place for little boys!!

Hated it. My hair was cut uneven, it wasnt faded at all, and they dont accept credit or debit cards. Why go here when there are so many other places that do the same thing for less money?

Extremely satisfied. Will certainly go back again! Price is fair too. I dont see why kids feel the need to go to a high-end hair salon when these guys specialize in mens hair.
