I hadnt been to a Barber shop since the 70s with my Gramps. HOCBS takes me back to those days. You are greeted by Shawna and guests when you walk in.The Shop has a come on in and stay awhile feeling to it. Ive recently got a short haircut that I can maintain and Shawna made me feel at ease and shared with me some products I could pick up. And if you can remember back in the day when topics of conversation came up or community events were talked about. Well the barber shop is still the place where you can keep up current events, discuss hot topics and relax your mind awhile and where everyone is welcome. I can say that Ive found my barber!

Hats off barber shop is My top choice! I first starting going because my Sons were being taken there by their mother. Their cuts were always looking fresh so I decided to give Shawna a try. I wasnt disappointed. She took the time to see exactly how I wanted my cut to look. Hey, I travel from East Nashville to Antioch for a haircut she must be doing something right! Service is always prompt but even more so when you make an appt, if any of you have ever made one somewhere else and still had to sit around waiting you know how it can go.... But not here! Hats Off is My 1st Choice

The only bad thing I can say about Hats Off is that its a shame there is only one Shawna inside it! The environment is great and she is a consummate professional. Its really hard to find a good barber that gives you the cut you like, while at the same time they dont take you for granted as a customer and I have been fortunate enough to have had great service from her and never had to sacrifice 4 hours waiting on her while she ate, talked on the phone, ran to the "store" etc... If you want a good cut from a friendly intelligent and professional woman, I suggest you give her a go.

Shawna is a very down to Earth person, whom I can have real conversation with about life or whatever! I love telling people I have a female barber that lines my dreads up! She has my edge up crisp and sharp, making a brother feel really good once he gets out of her chair! She is a huge convenience to me, being right around the corner from where I stay, just as well knowing she close at 7pm, which gives me time to get off work and swing by unlike my previous barber who closed at 5pm!
