I had the worst salon service EVER at Concepts salon. I booked an appointment for hair and makeup for a glamor shot photo shoot. I was told it would take 2 hours or so (about what I thought). It took the stylist half an hour to do both hair and makeup... and it looked it. I went in with pictures of the makeup and hair that I wanted, we discussed what I wanted, then she proceeded to dig around in my makeup bag. ($18 to apply makeup and I had to provide my own makeup.) She applied my foundation with her grubby fingers that smelled of cigarettes. She got irritated when she asked if I had blush and I told her that I didnt have any, she went into a back room and pulled out a sample sheet of blush and also applied that with her fingers... didnt even bother to put my setting powder on for the foundation. Then she put my lipstick on, smeared it all over my lips and teeth. Then she moved on to my eyes... it was a disaster! I wanted a glam makeup look with cat eyes. What I got was a muddy mess that wasnt symmetrical... and didnt look a thing like the pictures I showed her. (Pictures had eyeliner all around the eye--top and bottom-- when she said she was done I asked her "what about the bottom liner" she replied "oh you want it on the bottom too?" Um, yeah, like the pictures I showed you!!) Anyone that knows makeup knows it goes concealer, foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, then lipstick. You would think a "professional" would know that. Then the hair--oh you mean my helmet? Yeah... again, not even close to what we discussed, I wanted soft, romantic curls... sexy... I got a curled, teased to hell and back and sprayed... and sprayed... and sprayed with hair spray. By the time I walked out of the salon my hair looked like it was straight out of the 90s and for someone that is at least 20 years older than me (Im 34!!!). I ended having to go home and fix my face the best I could and brushed my rats nest out... in the end I was able to get it to look better... no thanks to Tammy at Concepts Salon.

Im not saying the hair salon is bad because its definitely not, BUT the hair stylist I had (Tammy) was not my favorite... She was so rough with me. She kept scratching my forehead with her nails and left welts. I am not too picky, I told her I just wanted to get long layers in my hair, and cut a couple inches off to get rid of the dead stuff... My hair went to the bottom of my ribcage just about... She cut it off to just under my shoulders. The layers looked really choppy. I got in my car and cried it looked so bad. I went home and tried to straighten it to make it look a little better.. And I noticed the layers looked like she just chopped some hair off here and there. My hair wasnt even at the bottom either.. Worst hair cut Ive ever had. BUT I went back and Theresa fixed my hair and now I love it and have gotten so many compliments because of it. They were so nice and understanding and I will be going back to get my hair done. Personally, I wouldnt recommend Tammy... But any of the other ladies do such a good job!

My stylist was really nice and the hair color she gave me was gorgeous. However, my hair color only lasted one day. Thats it. Just one day. Also, I asked for a trim just to get a couple of dead ends off. She ended up cutting over 3 inches of my hair off. I was excited when I left the salon until I got home and realized just how ridiculously short my hair is. I was growing my hair out. Now it is going to take another 6 months to get my hair back to where it was yesterday.

Been tanning there off and on for quite a few years now. My most recent tanning experience though the bulbs are always burnt out regardless of what bed I get. They say they changed them recently and do it frequently however I bought a tanning package nearly 30 days ago now and the bulbs in the beds are still blown. Dont think I got a full bed the whole 30 days so definitely not getting my whole money worth.

Went today for a pedicure. Was very nervous about it since it was my first time ever but the professional way that I was treated and taken care of put me instantly at ease! I am extremely satisfied with how my appointment went and a VERY loud shout out to Brandy, who took care of me. if you have never had this decadent treatment I highly recommend it!

I came in , new to town looking for a good salon. I found it!! Marisa was excellent! Everyone was very friendly, they used very good products and were very helpful in helping me pick out a color and style. I really like that when they help with suggestions . I will be coming back to continue my hair services, and tanning.
