I would agree with the previous review (from over two years ago!), while the facility is clean and curriculum seems to be on track, there is no passion for care at this facility. When issues were discussed there was no resolve or interest to do better for the safety of the children. There is a strong lack of communication between the owners and the classroom teachers. Business owners are alarmingly defensive when discussing issues and would rather lose your child as a student than work towards a better plan. Teachers are blasé and have no real passion for working with kids. Ive been to child care facilities before where the teachers treat the children as their own and you can literally see the joy on their face when theyre playing together. This facility lacks that joy.

We were referred to My Second Home from friends at our church. We wanted our 4 year old son to go to a place that taught the Bible everyday and had a high academic preschool program that would get him ready for Kindergarten. After visiting several preschools in our area, we found My Second Home to be the perfect fit! The facility is very clean and never has that poopy diaper smell! The owners are very nice people and are well respected in our community. It seems everyone in town knows them! Our sons teacher is great with the children and always greets him with a big smile and a hello every morning. The menu is terrific and we just love the exercise equipment in the gymnasium! We would recommend My Second Home to everyone.

Would Not Recommend. Facility is clean and safe. Curriculum seems adequate. Teachers seem very frustrated with children, do not seem like they are enjoying working with the children. Parent concerns were not taken into consideration. Parents opinion is that staff were not kind to parents or child after concerns were discussed. If you are looking for a kind and nurturing environment, I would look at a different preschool.

We have had kids here for several years. We have been very happy. Everyone from the infant room to the pre-k room have been wonderful. Not as much staff turnover as other places we have been, which is nice. There are always issues that arise in daycare situations (kids biting, etc), but everything has been handled well. I love that Christian education is part of the everyday routine. Overall a great experience!

My son went there for 2 months and I must they were the best 2 months ...when I moved him to other daycare and pre k class ...he hasnt been the same.....one of the best day care I have seen

Had to take my grandchild out of daycare after two many teacher changes, no communication about the childrens day and finding child sitting in timeout on bathroom floor
