Wow! Not sure why all the great reviews. Perhaps I just had a really bad stylist this time. I should have read some other review sites that gave this place a bad rating. I have been to this establishment three times now. The first experience was good and the 2nd was good enough for me to come back and give it another shot. I had a different stylist this time and it was an extremely disappointing experience. I told the stylist what I wanted and she basically took the clippers and lopped off my sides. Then took the scissors and made a few snips and called it a haircut. I told her at least make it lay flat in a part and she made a few more snips like I was a inconvenience to her. At this point I just kept my mouth shut to limit the damage to an already terrible haircut. I decided I would come home and correct the mistakes myself to let it grow out enough to go to a real salon. After she got down with my haircut she washed out my hair and took the wet towel and threw it on my shirt and told me to dry off. Then she tried to make some small talk at the end to hopefully get a good tip. I understand this is a turn and burn place but at least show a ounce of professionalism. Not asking for much, just a decent haircut and a some courtesy when dealing with customers. I should have just paid the extra $10 to $15 bucks and went with a real salon considering you have to make an appointment at this place anyways.

Horrible customer service. I was told on the phone that the wait is only 15 minutes. 5 minutes later when i showed up at the barbershop the wait went up to 1 hour. What cchanged? According to a rude lady at the counter lots of walkins and appointments. Worst part is technicians were chatting with each other while I waited for about 30 minutes. They even let the phone ring out because they were so busy chatting. At least 3 other people came and left without a haircut because they were told the wait time was now 1.5 hours. Management should take notice because at this rate this place is not staying in business for long.

I am extremely picky about who cuts my hair. I moved to Greenwood in 2011, and I was never happy with my haircuts until just recently. I tried The Barbershop once without any high hopes. I got Gina. Long story short... Gina did a great job and was out one week on vacation when I needed my hair cut. Jenn was the one who cut my hair that week. I have not gone to any other person after Jenn. She does a great job and interacts well with her clients. If you ever need a place to go for your hair, I recommend The Barbershop. Both Gina and Jenn are amazing!

Danelle has been cutting my hair, and trimming my beard, for about 6 Months. She always does a great job! Very personable, and easy to talk to, but will let me just sit quietly if I want. Great service attitude. The place is very nice. Has a manly feel - leather chairs, semi private booths, lots of dark wood. I get a hair cut, beard trim, eye brow trim, shampoo after the cut so I dont feel itchy afterwards, and a back massage I usually turn down. All for $19 - Much better than SportsClips, or an old fashion barbershop.

Hey there! Ive never made a review in my life so here goes nothing, my brother recommended I go and get my haircut at your establishment because of the quality of service. But Id like you guys to know that maruida went above and beyond what I had ever expected. Shes cut my hair like nobody else has and her experience in cosmetology was clearly visible in the way she worked. Ill definitely be back for sure and thank you for the wonderful service. Keep up the good work guys!

Scheduled an appointment an hour in advance over the phone. Went in for the first time today and thought that it was very clean and professional looking. I was excited. I checked in and I sat for almost an hour after my appointment time and they kept calling other people before me. I was so turned off. Why bother making an appointment? I walked out without getting a haircut. I will not be returning again and its a true shame, I really liked the location and the interior.

Ive only ever been treated with great professionalism while here. Malori has been cutting my hair for about a year now. Shes always very respectful of her clientele. Since she started here a few months ago, Ive only been able to come in a couple times. Im not as familiar with the business as a whole, however, other employees have always been very reasonable in my interactions with them. Great cuts and no complaints make this a five star joint as far as Im concerned!

I have been coming here for a couple of months now, and I will continue to come back. Kelsay is my barber, and she is great at making sure the hair cut is right every time. Today, Kelsay, went the extra mile in my book and after the shampoo, noticed a spot that wasnt right and went back over it. She also provided me with a card that noted what was done. Not only do I give The Barbershop 5 stars but I would and have recommended my friends go see Kelsay.

Wow. I must say that I have encountered many-a-barber in my day, but none whose skills and treatment of her clients match those of Malori Senacs. Yes, I have come to The Barbershop several times in the past and had great experiences, leaving with less hair and quite satisfied about it. However, nowadays, the work Malori Senac puts into cutting my hairs is the reason I return. The Barbershop in Greenwood is paradise (when it comes to haircuts)!

Amazing hairdressers.. Perfection .. Giving Jasmyne a five star review. Not only does she listen to her customers she gives them exactly what they ask for and impeccable customer service !!! I asked her to cut my dead ends and not chop my hair off she layered my hair the exact way that I wanted it . I felt like I was at home . This is my new place to fix my hair when I ruin it. Jennifer cuts the best head of hair in the place, its clean, the chairs up front are crazy comfortable, and free peanuts. Direct tv in every station is a bonus, not like other barbershops shops claiming to be geared towards males, with one or two tvs playing the same sports center over and over and over. Bottom line if you liked the most valuable player at the other place, the barbershop is cheaper and better so its a win win.

It doesnt matter if you scheduled or are a walk in, you are going to wait. You will get a nice haircut, but it might take an hour and a half from the time you walk in. If you are a walk in, expect an hour regardless of what they say. Ive rationalized my experiences there in the past, but despite its convenient location and the quality haircuts Ive had, I will no longer be a customer here.

Danielle always does a fantastic job with my 13 year old sons hair. He never cared about getting a hair cut, but now he cant wait until the next time he goes! He loves the great atmosphere, the warm towel, the tv in the booth (of course, hes 13), and massage. There are plenty of comfortable chairs for my daughter and to sit in while we are waiting. We highly recommend The Barbershop!!!
