I had the privilege of having a haircut and a shave from John today at City Limits Barber shop in Mount Juliet, TN. I have to say it was past great! This is not your typical shop. This is something out of the past with all the flair and skill from days gone by. I had a three hot towel shave. I have not felt that good since I was 16 when my dad and I went to Dotsons barber shop on Murfreesboro Road. John is as skilled as a surgen and a great listener. During my haircut and shave a dad and his daughter came in and played checkers and watched Andy Griffin on the TV while they waited. As I was leaving two guys came in and played foosball before their haircuts. All in all I would recommend this to all my friends and will.

I didnt like the ridiculous theme park atmosphere, like you are supposed to be stepping back in time to a time that never really existed anyway. The place was pretty filthy too, I am actually thinking of calling the health department. I would NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE.

If you are looking for a great barber shop, you just found it. This is a real barber shop! It is not one of those cookie cutter hair places.. It is really close in price, but that is it. If you havent stopped in and had a hair cut by Johnny, you havent had a hair cut!

I like city limits with the old school barber chairs and the andy griffith show playing it reminds you of a time capsule. The shaves are great and the customer service is stellar. Recomend a try for the experience.

Great barber shop! This place is old school with Andy Griffith on all the time. They have plenty of seating for people waiting, games and lots of space. Love this place and I keep going back.
