This is the most incompetent post office Ive ever worked with. Since Ive moved to Indy in July, all of the following has occurred: 1) random peoples mail has shown up in my mail box. 2) wrong slips for packages that arent mine. 3) packages that arent mine in general. 4) packages delivered across town to downtown Indy with little to no explanation. I just came inside infuriated because my Amazon sent a notification saying my speakers were delivered. After fighting with the key (which by the way is in terrible condition) and realizing that apparently on this box you use the bottom, more generic looking lock than you do the actual turn lock, I opened the locker to see that once again, the package there was not mine. They did this to me with a dress that was time sensitive that I had mailed, with a hair purchase I made, and also with several other packages. I have received my neighbors mail numerous times. When I went to deliver the package to the rightful owner (since no one at this post office can, apparently), he informed me that he himself just yesterday had to deliver two packages to a different address: he lives in 7052, but for some reason got mail to 7110. I live in 7068, and got his mail for 7052. I wouldnt be nearly as aggravated if this was a once in a while occurrence, but this is at least once a week that I get something that isnt mine or cant get my own damn mail. The worst was a letter I got intended for someone else for Valentines Day from a correctional facility-which I can only assume was important, but apparently not to the carrier whose incompetence shines through daily. I will be getting my mail delivered by other services by any means possible. This post office is a joke. And heaven forbid you call wanting to rightfully know where your stuff is-because everyone across the board (minus Sharon-the supervisor who was amazing the last time this happened) is rude, spiteful, and are in a hurry to get you off the phone. What a worthless post office!

I work for a local business who receives mail through a PO Box at this location. Repeatedly I have received notices about Certified letters that I have not picked up, yet I have not received any notation prior to this about those letters. Yesterday I had a certified mail slip waiting for me in the box that was over a month old! The package had been returned to the sender nearly a month ago! Today I brought the slip that was in the box (this time it was actually for today). The alleged supervisor, whose name I do not have, I will just call her the rude lady confronted me about not picking up my mail, which I do every single day Monday - Friday. She continued arguing with me and saying that we dont pick up our certified because she has four letters for me today. My question is how am I supposed to pick up my certified letters when I dont get the notices until a month later?!?!?!?! Another alleged supervisor, named Joe, responded to me being upset and angry by repeating "Im gonna talk wit ya" over and over again. While he at least tried to be nice his lack of professionalism was atrocious. Unfortunately I cant make the decision to go to a further post office location or I would. Side note: Employee Daniel has proven to be rude and incompetent as well. There are two employees that I will say do their job well and are always respectful. I dont have their names at the moment, but when I get it I will update this review. They are only even getting one star for the small group of good employees, and because Google makes me give them at least that.

The worst customer service ever dont ever go inside unless you want to deal with someone with a really bad attitude. I came in with a damaged envelope with a money order inside, that took almost three months to get back the money order was utterly useless so I brought it back to them to get it replaced I was then I told I couldnt because it was from money gram and I had to go through them to get it replaced after a month and a half I finally got it back but it cost me 18 dollars so naturally I went back to the same guy who gave me instructions on how to get my money back and said Ive never told you that and chuckled. He made me feel like was lying or trying to get over on them so he then gave me a number to file a claim so now I have to wait again. Next time Ill will go to the westside of town for my mail. Also because of there carelessness this money order issues I couldve violated my probation this was my last payment so anything you have thats important if I were you I wouldnt mail anywhere around this post office.

When a person does not like their job or appreciate their job, it is very evident by the quality of service they provide. For 3 years now I have had to complain multiple times to this post office and even the Supervisor that the mail person is leaving my top loaded mailbox wide open so that when I get home, my mail is soaking wet. I purposely purchased a big enough mailbox so that magazines and small packets can be inserted and the top closed but that made no difference. The mailperson, puts it halfway in, so it is hanging out of the top. Winter, rain it does not matter, my mortgage book for the next year is all crimpled from being wet. My mail can be stolen, or wet, they do not care. In the last month, two of my packages were delivered to other people who do not even live on my street. I was lucky they were honest folks who immediately delivered them to my address and guess what??...THEY found me without a problem. Hmmm... What a shame!!

Apparently my neighborhood has a new mail carrier. I can tell because "she" not only delivers someone elses mail in our mailbox quite often, but she also fails to deliver my packages (this happened on two occasions, two weeks in a row). She does not leave a slip in our mailbox to let me know where my package is, so I am forced to call the post office. A couple of workers who answer the phone are exceptionally rude to where they would leave me on hold for a long time (on purpose) and one employee had even hung up on me! I just want my package, its not my fault I have to call in because one of your workers cant do their job right. I really dislike this post office, not the best customer service at all.

The absolute worst post office Ive EVER been to! The employees are lazy, unprofessional, and deliberately slow. I have taken 7 packages in at once...early in the morning and they take literally all day to scan them in. Most recently I finished my transaction and grabbed a handful of free priority mailers and the clerk made it her business to yell in her customers face so she could tell me I could only take a couple now. Those mailers were yellowing and covered with dust...they werent in any jeopardy of running out! That post office needs to be shut down immediately!
