The old saying of "you get what you pay for" completely rings true at this Great Clips. If you are a woman I strongly suggest you do not go here. The employees have a ten minute limit with each customer and try their hardest to get you in and out no matter what. I say women beware because if you have long hair, they are likely to rush through your haircut without taking time to notice whether or not it looks presentable. I cant tell you how many times I have gone to accompany my mother and there are women sitting in the waiting room complaining that they had to come back to get their hair fixed. I personally dont think that there is any haircut that would take less than ten minutes on anyone (except short haircuts on men) so the idea that Great Clips pressures their employees has a lot to do with their lack of attention to detail. Staff itself: The ladies are nice when you come in, they greet you with a smile and a welcome to Great Clips attitude. But once you are back in the "butchers den" they will talk to each other about their day and different dramas occurring in their lives, all while you are sitting there in silence. I get that they are all friends and want to have fun at work, but when you are with a customer you should have your full attention on them and accomplishing the haircut they desire. The Product Pushing: Ok, yes Great Clips wants to push their hair care products. As I was walking over to pay my bill the lady who cut my hair practically yelled "this product would be great for your hair, it repairs damage and is on sale for only thirty dollars". As everyone was looking at me to see whether or not I would spend that kind of money, I of course declined. Not only was it embarrassing that she asked me in front of all the people waiting, it was plan sad how she cared more about making money off the products then her work as a hairdresser. (She could have suggested products to me when I was still at her station.) I would have preferred she bring back one or two of the products that she thought would be best for my hair and let me have a minute to think rather than be put on the spot. My Suggestion: Even if you have a coupon for 6.99, take my advice and spend $18.00 elsewhere, you will have to spend the extra money running around to find another place to fix your hair, or have to go back to this Great Clips for a redo. "You get what you pay for".

The stylists are friendly and do a good job. It can get crowded, so I would advise that you go to the great clips website and check in online, it saves you a lot of waiting once you get there.
