I normally would not even take time to write and complain about a business, but I felt compelled that I had to write this review. I was told by a friend who knew that I was looking for a job, to go to First Call Staffing because his job was hiring people through First Call Staffing. I should have known that it was a bad idea to go there in the first place because three years ago I had gotten hired by First Call Staffing, they sent me out to a factory the day that they hired me. I was being trained by a co-worker on two machines for approximately twenty minutes and then the trainer left me to operate two machines by myself. I was bombarded with parts for forty-five minutes with no one around the factory to help, I immediately called the manager at First Call Staffing and all she could say was do not leave the building. Now here I am three years later being referred by a friend to apply to his job and all I got was basically the door slammed in my face by First Call Staffing management saying that I cant work here anymore. These people have no Integrity!

I received a phone call asking me to interview for a specific position, based upon my online application. I get there. There is no interview, and theyve lost the information I submitted online. I tell the woman there that I was called in for a specific position. She tells me that I just need to fill out a paper application, and watch the safety video. Incredibly dishonest way to do business. Spherion on Everbrook is a much better agency. They treat applicants with respect, and it shows in the people they bring in for hiring. If you are an employer using this agency, I would suggest to you that whatever cost savings they offer over a reputable agency like Spherion will be more than wiped out by the low quality of staff willing to tolerate mistreatment like this.

I found the staff very helpful and willing to explain things fully and answer questions. Doing an in-house drug screen, saved time and got my first assignment that very day! Thank you First Call Staffing!
