I drove over an hour to place an application and have an interview with Justin. That was on a Thursday, I was told he would get back to me that following Monday. I did not hear back so I called and left a voicemail. I called every day and never did receive a call back. Finally on Thursday, I called the front desk to talk to a manager. I spoke with a gentleman that represented he was in some sort of a management position, I dont recall his name. He said he would get back with me in the afternoon, and he did. I was told the job I had originally applied for was all filled. (As of this morning, Justin was still placing ads for this said job online) I was told they would continue to look, but at that time they did not have anything. My application was very open to anything, was in no way picky about what I wanted, just an honest job. I have no idea why I was treated this way. In my opinion it is because I am a middle aged woman. When I left my interview, I was told that there were a couple other openings, better than what I had originally applied for. It was represented that it was just a matter of a couple phone calls. I am then, days later told, when I finally call the front desk, everything is filled.....however they are still posting jobs online, including the one I originally applied for. At the very least, Aerotek is dishonest. I want businesses to know, the people that have a loyal, honest, punctual and strong work ethic, are not even being given a chance and neither party is being represented honestly and fairly by Aerotek.

Ive dealt with various staffing agencies as a recent college grad looking to break into the scientific industry and some dont really know how to balance a skilled science degree with the opportunities that best fit a scientists various tools of the trade. Some agencies dont even know basic scientific terms...let alone find you good long term relationships with companies to start a career; not just a job. Ive found Aerotek to be the top agency in knowing what jobs were hot in my field, what jobs I was qualified for, understanding my technical skill set and setting me up for success in every way possible. I lived in the Chicago area and I was glad to know that their various offices have good communication amongst one another. The Hiawatha office science staffing section prepared me very well for my interview. They have good contacts with the companies that they work with and can give you some "inside" tips to urge you in the right direction. I even got some very good resume advice--for free! Very friendly and responsive. If I ever have a question Id hear back in less than 24 hours sometimes even less than 30 min later. If looking for a job is causing you a lots of stress--as its an emotional time in any persons life--I urge you to go with aerotek and see what they have to offer you... Youll be surprised what jobs they can find you and it will as easy as possible for you to ace that interview, get the job and blend seamlessly into your career.

This company is owned by a larger conglomerate known as Allegis Group. Theyre key concept is a prime focus on acquiring and maintaining personnel for contracted companies at an extremely low rate. Think of the person you meet with at their office to interview with as a car salesman, they are essentially qualifying you and dumping you into a giant pool of people according to your skills, and of course, their whim and opinion of you. I personally had the experience of meeting with one of the ladies here. I have also had the extremely pleasurable experience of work for an other Allegis-owned subsidiary that was particularly adept at sucking out your very soul, and on top of that, borderline-psychotic business practices. These people really dont even care about workers even remotely, to them, you are a subject, a number, a grain of sand on the most important brick in the least important wall. They are however very good at supplying you with a fake smile and smarmy demeanor that will leave your bowels churning. Good job guys.

They got me a job Ill give them that. I am now past what was supposed to be the end of my 6 month contract by a month and a half. They are telling my boss that my contract isnt over yet and every time I call them I get sent to voicemail. You do not get holidays paid even if the company you work for does, so with the holidays coming up I am missing out on tons of time. At this point I think theyre trying to get more money out of my company before they hire me. Overall: good at first, nightmare at the end.

Overall, I have had a very good experience with Aerotek. They do an excellent job of communicating with you while you are working for them to make sure the job is going well. They are supportive, have coaching systems in place and are friendly. I am not a fan of their website- it is better to talk to a person and submit your resume, directly to them. I actually hired full time into my current position and they were even supportive of that and helped make the transition smooth.

First off the staff is very polite. If youre looking for a job this is a great place to start your process. I had two interviews very quickly & I was accepted to one the same day I had the interview. I have yet to start but so far things have been great. My recruiter Jacki is awesome! She is really good about communication, Ive never felt left in the dark about anything. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a job in any field.

I was being laid off by my previous employer, and went to this agency. On the day I interviewed, my info. was sent to an employer. After some time I was hired by this employer. I was a few days from graduating with my training class, when I was informed my services were not needed any longer and they would no longer work with me. So much for coaching, in my case, I didnt even get that .

If I could give a negative rating, I would. No follow through for these people. They call with an opportunity, have you take the time to interview, but then either keep telling you they are waiting to hear and they will call you back or you never get a call back at all. Dont waste your time.
