Rainbow in Alexandria, KY is an outstanding school with caring teachers and wonderful staff. Their curriculum is great, and the kids have a lot of fun every day. Rainbow in Alexandria has absolutely awesome teachers - they are professionals and truly care about the kids. I talk to my daughters teachers every day - they are always happy to tell me about her day. I appreciate that they take the time out of their busy days and communicate with me. Knowing that my daughter is having a great day at school gives me a peace of mind and makes my day a lot better. School director and support staff are also wonderful. Cindy always does whats best for the kids and their families and is always willing to answer any questions we may have. She does an excellent job managing the school. My daughter (3 years old) has been at Rainbow since she was a baby. She loves school, and that makes a huge different to me and my husband. My older daughter (now 8) was at Rainbow since she was 1 until she went to kindergarten, and she is doing very well academically and socially. I know that Rainbow did a great job preparing her for kindergarten. In addition to great education, kids at Rainbow in Alexandria also have a lot of fun! Not only in the summer, but throughout the year, Rainbow has so many fun activities for the kids. At the end of the day, you just want your kids to be happy, and my kids have been happy at Rainbow in Alexandria. I appreciate all the hard work teachers and staff put in every day to take care of my kids, educate them, and make it a fun experience. Thank you, Rainbow in Alexandria, KY!

Rainbow Childcare in Alexandria has teachers that truly care about their students. The curriculum really helps the children succeed in learning and helping them get to the next step. While I believe, it is a good school, there are also opportunities for improvement. First, the turnover of the teachers is a little concerning. Sometimes I walk in with a new teacher with no notification. A suggestion to look into is having the teachers sign a contract so there is little disruption in the children having to adjust to a new teacher. Also, Rainbow claims that they have a PIC (Parental Committee). However, I have not seen this implemented at this school. In fact, I would suggest to have more parental involvement activities so their can be some connection between home and school and not just the online portal. Or maybe utilize email or have online groups for parents to connect if they choose.

Ever since I first enrolled my son at Rainbow when he was 9 months old, I have been so pleased with the care he has received. Cindy and Dawn made him feel right at home and put my mind at ease. The routine that is continually given to him even when I am at work, along with the care he receives from his present and past teachers allow me to focus on my job without worry about how he is doing. The curriculum that Rainbow uses in their classrooms is very impressive; my son knows upper and lower case letter recognition and he will only be 2 this month! This center fosters my sons eagerness to want to learn and opens his eyes to new ideas daily.

Rainbow Child Care has both the parents and child in their best interest. Our son looks forward to going to school to be with his friends and the sincere teachers. We feel that his experience has been very positive for him. He is advancing both academically and socially. The atmosphere is pleasant. The Director and teachers are very personable, they are always open to talk about the daily activities. This place was recommended to us by multiple people. I would pass along the recommendations to anyone else seeking child care. Thanks Rainbow Child Care for my sons home away from home.

Ive had my child there for about 6 months now, My wife and I went and looked at all the local daycare in the Alexandria area and this is the best we have found. Other daycares did not seem to be as clean as this Rainbow. The staff is very nice and good with my child. One of the main things we like is the double doors to enter the place, it really helps out when mother nature is acting up. It is nice to be indoors and out of the elements when you are typing in the passcode to get inside the building.

The director Cindy is the nastiest and most vindictive person I have ever met. She treats the staff horribly and thats why there is such a high staff turnover. I would never send my child there, no parent would want their child in the hands of an unhappy teacher. This is not the teachers fault, theyre are very good and highly experienced teachers in that center but they are not treated how they should be!!!

This is a great daycare, my daughter went there from age 1 to age 5 and she learned very much and was ready for school when she started kindergarten! The teachers were great and took great care of my daughter!
