We were eager to have Tom come out and take a look at the custom cabinets in our living room. He came out and measured the space and left a quote (which we later found out did not include the swivel system that we had asked for.) Furthermore, this was the last time we heard from Tom as he never reached back out to us or answered his phone for to follow up on our job for that matter. We ended up putting our project off for a 5 months due to the birth of our twins. We decided to give Tom one more shot as he came recommended from a friend. He answered the initial call as he completely forgot about having quoted us 5 months prior and apologized for not getting back with us. We told him it wasnt a big deal because we had decided to not include the swivel system that we originally wanted. He came back out to re-do measurements and we showed him his old quote. He said that quote was still accurate. This is when we found out he didnt include the swivel that we wanted initially. We decide to proceed with the cabinets anyway. Tom committed to following up once he had the materials and then book a date for installation. One week goes by and Tom doesnt follow up... I call and leave 3 messages for Tom in the second week since Tom committed to the job and all of my messages went unreturned. I have no intention of using Tom for our cabinets as I can see how he runs his business but just out of curiosity, I thought I would try to call him one last time since he was at our house and committed to the job 4 weeks ago. Just as expected, no answer and sent to voicemail again..... Heres a tip Tom.... If this job is too small or you are too busy, just tell your customers up front rather than promising something that you have no intention to deliver upon. Tom lacks professionalism and is obviously not thorough in his work as he omitted a critical detail in the first quote. One negative incident can be overlooked if the business/people you are working with make an honest mistake. 3 negative incidents occurring in the sales and quoting process before any work is rendered, and a clear lack of courtesy toward customers??? - You can find better service and professionalism from companies other than Tom Power Painting. Work with Tom Power Painting at your own risk folks...

I am a repeat customer of Tom Power Painting. Tom Power provides detailed and accurate quotes for required work. Recent staining and painting of trim was my third contract with Tom Power Painting. My home is a two story contemporary wood and with large Pella windows throughout both stories. Charles and Tony are very skilled and experienced carpenters. They did a wonderful job saving costly new Pella window replacement by repairing my existing windows and other wood repair. Don and his painting crew did a very good job staining wood siding and painting trim. I would highly recommend Tom Power Painting for staining, painting and wood repair.

I tried to be a repeat customer of Tom Power Painting, but apparently my second job was too small (broken window). Tom came out to look at my broken window and take measurements, but never followed up, and after leaving two messages about a week apart I gave up. For the first job, they did a nice job with exterior wood trim and window repair of my home, although I did have to get them back out to finish some of the window mechanism repair Tom said they would do when I originally hired them. I guess they do good work, if you can actually get them to do the work.
