I love Subway, but this particular location is horrible. Although the food is the same quality as all other Subways, the prices are substantially different from any other Subway I have ever been too. This Subway does not participate in the Daily sandwich specials (6in sandwich, chips, and a 32oz drink for $4.75) or the 5 dollar footlong promotions. In addition to the price difference the Owner and the staff are very rude. On my first experience at this location, the owner heckled me and tried to charge me for napkins when I went back to the counter to ask for extra. He ended up giving me the napkins since I was standing at the register and holding up the line of customers. On my second experience, I decided to go to the other side of the restaurant where the manager/owner was not present, and the lady behind the counter was not listening to me when I said I wanted wheat bread instead of white bread. Despite repeating myself three times, and my wife also asserting herself, I received white bread. Rather than making a big fuss about it and holding up the other people behind me, I let it go. On that same experience, My wife and I decided that we wanted a cookie after finishing our sandwiches. When I went to pay, I did not have cash, and I presented my debit card to pay the $1.09 bill for the cookies. The Owner informed me that he wouldnt take it because it would cost him $0.30 for the transaction. I told him I had no cash or change or me, and he then proceeded to swipe my card and charge me for an extra cookie without giving me an extra cookie so that he could offset his transactional fees. As stated earlier, I love Subway. This particular owner runs this location in a greedy and unprofessional manner. Despite the proximity to my office, I will boycott this particular Subway location, and I hope my opinion will persuade you to boycott this location also.

Pretty much always have an issue at this location. The owner of the store is VERY rude. His personality is off-putting. He moves at a snails pace. 1) When he is not present, one two different locations Ive observed his employees loudly bad mouthing him and his employment policies. They use curse words, theyre loud, and the entire dining experience is affected by this. 2) When he is present he always does sketchy things with ringing up the bill. Once hes tried to charge me for double meat, when I did not request it. Once I was charged for a steak and cheese when I ordered a cold cut combo. 3) Is not building sandwiches to spec. Will try to put less cheese on a foot long, and less ham. Today I ordered an Italian BMT. Its my understanding that a foot long should have four pieces of ham, folded. I got three pieces, not four. When I said something to him he said no this is how its supposed to be. Well, hes the only subway in the country who is doing it this way. All in all, I can assure you - it takes a lot to upset me. But this guy is a real piece of work. Hes not operating with the quality of service and products that Subway is known for. If you need further evidence, just look at the google reviews. I was not surprised to find out that theyre perfectly in line with what I have typed here.

As others have commented, I have received the same experience: simply rude customer service. The sandwich artists are older women with deceivingly friendly appearances. I ordered my usual, BMT on flatbread with rabbit food and extra pickles and olives. When the sandwich maker got to the olives part, she stopped to tell me it wouldnt close--I have never had that issue before... I used to work at Subway as a teen so all you have to do is take a knife and fold everything over neatly. I didnt want to lose my cool, so I simply and politely asked her to try. Surprise! The sandwich was closed...After that, I got nothing but a scowl from her. If you frequent downtown, I suggest the other further north (near to Smoothie King)--theyre nothing but warm people (and even gave my bf a cookie because he was their last customer of the day) and they have two assembly areas.

On my visit, the two girls working with the food were very unattentive and acted like I was bothering them by placing my order. I had to repeat 2-3 times each topping I wanted and even got eyes rolled at me once. The girl who rang up my order (I later found out she was the manager) was very nice, but when I walked the 5 blocks back to my office and opened my sandwich I found that there was no chicken on my oven roasted chicken flat bread sandwich. I walked back and again got treated as though I was a bother. Then, the girl making the sandwich got mad when her manager told her to make a whole new sandwich rather than just putting chicken on my old one. Eyes rolled again. The management was very nice, but employees are the pits!

This is the worst Subway I have ever went into in my life, The owner should be shut down , Me and my family witch are tourist had to us the bathroom, This is there first time in the USA. We walk in the door and went to the bathrooms , the owner said very meanly you have to bye something first. ( Ok thats fine I understand ) We did not see the sign on the door. He was so mean , MY family does not speek English at all . He came across the center causing and yelling. I called him a ass. HE had food in his mouth , He was yelling and food was going all over the place , in our faces , He then started betting on the door of the bathroom where my cousin was using. There were customers in the restaurant.

I ate at this location while touring downtown Baton Rouge. There was apparently a cheerleading competition nearby while I was there, as the town was inundated by elementary girls parading around in their rather gaudy outfits. Naturally this restaurant was crowded, but the food was good and the service was courteous and quick. It is a convenient resting stop within walking distance of a cluster of popular attractions including the LSU Art Museum, the Old Capitol Building Complex, and of course the Mississippi River Park.

They never have ingredients in stock, usually only have 1 bread to choose from. It was like this twice in a row i went, and it was around 2 pm both times. Only one person working, at all times. Rude manager/owner.
